Exceptional Customer Service!
I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding assistance my family received from Mr. Brodrick Halls, an employee at Fulton County Probate Court. He played a pivotal role in resolving the complex and stagnant estate of my late step-mother, which had been lingering for quite some time. Mr. Halls truly went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
From the moment I reached out to Mr. Halls, he displayed an unparalleled level of professionalism, empathy, and expertise. He took the time to listen attentively to our concerns and patiently addressed each one of them. His vast knowledge of estate matters and the legal intricacies involved in the probate process was truly impressive.
What stood out most about Mr. Halls was his unwavering dedication to seeing my step-mother's estate matter through to completion. He demonstrated a genuine commitment and worked diligently to expedite the proceedings (which included consistently keeping us informed of the progress, promptly responding to our queries and providing regular updates). Despite facing several obstacles and challenges along the way, he remained proactive, resourceful, and determined to ensure a successful outcome.
Mr. Halls genuinely cares about his clients and their well-being, and his exceptional customer service truly made a difference during this challenging time. He is a true asset to Fulton County...
Read moreWent to North Fulton location for a scheduled appointment. Due to not knowing which forms were best, I asked for guidance (not legal advice). I just needed to know which form was most appropriate for my family’s situation. The woman that I sat down with was very unhelpful and reminded me that she was Intake Only. I had to almost beg for minimal information and at times she just sat back in her chair and stared at me like I was bothering her. Most individuals probably don’t go to probate often and not everyone can afford attorney fees for a simple question, such as which form is needed. A general explanation of each form would be greatly appreciated. Most are capable of filling out a form, they just need a kind soul in Probate to answer a few simple, general questions. Keep in mind that this location doesn’t have any available forms in case you don’t print off the right form. Print all of them if unsure. Please help me understand why someone would schedule an appointment for assistance and then get treated so ridiculously, especially after the passing of a loved one. Clearly the woman had no customer service skills and wasn’t educated enough to give general guidance (not legal advice!) Don’t go to this location. I called the estate division at the location on Pryor Street and received excellent help. They even apologized for the unhelpful & rude behavior of the North...
Read moredepartment family division. my daughter does not have my last name, only my husband's last name. Due to a vital records error, my husband and I went to petition to change my daughter name. I made a payment of $290 and they did not explain to me that a DNA test and my husband's permission were required. And that those documents had to be uploaded electronically (e-file). We are married. He was present at the petition. They only told me to pay the petition and the Fulton Neighbor newspaper, page $80, and to request my audience with the judge. They did not explain to me about my husband's permission, the DNA, or any link or email to do it. The judge was not a kind person or tried to understand my situation. She only told me, "Ma'am, before coming here, you had to have your documents in order." We are people of limited resources. I was saving money so that my daughter could have her father's and mother's last name. If from the beginning the staff had told me the petition was $290, the newspaper publication was $80, a DNA test, and the father's permission. Upload it to a link or send it to this email. They didn't tell me any of that. I wouldn't paid that, because I don't have the money for a DNA test. Or at least I would waited and saved more money and avoided that bad time in court...
