I initially hesitated to join Pure Barre because I thought it was only for women, but I quickly realized that I was wrong—it's truly a workout for everyone. I recently returned to Pure Barre Buckhead Location, after a two-year break and was amazed at how much I missed it.
The studio was clean and welcoming, with friendly staff who made me feel at ease right away. All of the instructors I've had are great, but my favorites are Mary Grace and Jaime. I’ve taken more classes with them because they have a unique way of motivating and guiding you through the workout. Their instructions are clear, and they make sure to keep the energy high throughout the class, which really helps when the exercises get tough.
The workout itself was intense but manageable, focusing on small, controlled movements that really targeted my core and legs. I appreciated the variety of exercises, which kept the class engaging and made the time fly by. After just one session, I felt more toned and energized, and I’m excited to see the long-term benefits.
Overall, I highly recommend Pure Barre to anyone, regardless of gender, looking to tone their muscles and improve their flexibility. I give the experience 5...
Read moreSo, 4 months ago I signed up to the studio and it was great! Classes are of quality but their customer service is trash.
Unfortunately, they haven’t held up their end of the deal. When I signed up it was for 3mts and I was supposed to get 6 credits free. That was the program. Fast forward I went to 4 or 5 classes (you get 4 per month). Instead of the program ending when it was supposed to I was charged 3 more months. I complained, emailed and disputed charges and it took forever to get my money back each time. I also lost the 6 credits I never used even though I told them they removed it both times. I just stopped caring to even ask anymore because it was exhausting.
Btw, no one runs the phones or emails so please don’t expect that type of correspondence. It's frustrating that you don't get basic customer service. Anyway, if you sign up just pay per class or you'll get...
Read moreSad to be leaving! I will be moving so I won't be going to this studio anymore. That being said, I was unsure at first whether or not I would enjoy Pure Barre, but realized that I really loved the encouragement and positivity from instructors. Vonda, the studio owner (also owns the Chastain location) made me feel so welcome, and her passion for Barre was infectious. It made me curious.
The instructors always helped make sure my form was right without making me feel self conscious. Barre is a workout that is low impact (no big jumps or totally losing your breath) but still feels challenging. I was sore after each workout (in a good way)! My favorite instructors are Lian, Merrick, Mary Grace,...
