Me and my daughter booked swedish massage for my daughter's birthday. We requested female therapists. It was supposed to be a 50 minute session, but my therapist who hardly worked on the massage (I did not feel any differently afterwards) finished it in 40 minutes. My daughter's therapist completed at the right time and with satisfaction. There was a mandatory 20% gratuity charge on our tab. I explained my dissatisfaction to the receptionist and asked me to change the gratuity amount and was told that that was Marriott policy. So that means we have to pay 20% tip even if the service was mediocre. I was completely unhappy. It was not worth $120. I would not recommend...

The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the actual treatments we received were great. However the receptionist and support staff made this a negative experience for us. We were given attitude simply for requesting a robe after discovering that none of the lockers were ready for new guests. Then as we sat in the locker room after our treatments, a woman came in to clean up the area — she was huffing and puffing, cursing under her breath, and slamming cabinet doors. We stayed at the ATL Marriott Marquis for our girls trip. I booked a couples massage to surprise my best friend on Saturday, 8/20/2022. Ericka and Rolanda made us both feel welcomed and they were very professional. What a great 💆‍♀️ massage! With the group massage, we received champagne and chocolate covered strawberries after the massage, which was a great touch. We did not want to leave the spa.
