Lovesac — Local services in Baltimore

The Lovesac Harbor East team was so helpful, friendly, and clearly stand behind their product (shout out to Natalie!). They followed up with me personally to take advantage of a great sale. I love my new gorgeous, comfy sectional. It's so well made and sturdy. I love that I can wash the upholstery, change the fabric, and add or subtract sections to match future needs. I didn't have to worry about whether a large sectional would fit the narrow staircase because it came in 16 boxes. It arrived one week after I ordered it, whereas I've had to wait months for furniture from other companies. The back cushions are a bit too long (overhangs on one side and looks not quite right if I try to scrunch things together), so I'll see about ordering a smaller, deep seat cushion instead. The only hitch was that I didn't know when the couch would arrive and (living downtown) was worried about boxes sitting outside while I was at work. It looks like there is a function on the FedEx shipping manager site that allows you to select a more convenient delivery time for a nominal charge... didn't see this until it was too late. But everything worked out. Almost all the packing materials can be recycled (cardboard)--no styrofoam, minimal plastic wrapping. Assembly took two of us about 4 hours--directions were easy to follow. I am very happy with my purchase! Would definitely recommend Lovesac to family...

Great sales team, not-so-great product.

We wanted a permanent solution to fitting a sofa in our space and reconfiguring it, so we sprang for the Lovesac. A key element in our decision-making was the litany of promises we were made by the staff in the store: Easy to clean, durable pet-appropriate fabric, and built-in audio for movies.

Well, this thing is nowhere near as easy to put together as the price tag would have you believe. The fabric grips and keeps ahold of every molecule of dust, dirt, and dog hair in the house, and those things do not come off with a vacuum. They do come off nicely in the washing machine; however, washing the covers is a debacle. They’re extremely difficult to remove and reapply without two people. Even if you can cram the cushions back in without breaking your wrist, the seams don’t line up easily, and the result is a sloppy-looking sofa. Lastly, The audio system has never worked properly despite Lovesac shipping us multiple replacements for parts. It constantly disconnects from our TV and the app doesn’t work.

The bottom line is Lovesac has a startup-tier product and their team is selling it as a market leader. It’s difficult to put together, difficult to keep clean, and difficult to maintain. I wish I had not believed the sales staff about...

Well, I finally gave in & what a better time to do so when there was a 20% off sale happening! I visited the LoveSac store in Harbor East, Baltimore. Raina provided an exceptional experience to the family and me. She was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions about the items and multiple options that you can choose from. The store itself was welcoming and clean. It felt like being home. I chose the five seats and five sides which I am excited to receive soon, hopefully. I will be visiting again for more accessories for this lifetime...
