I’m writing this review out of deep frustration and disappointment after spending nearly $600 on prescription Loewe sunglasses through Century City Optometry. What should have been a premium and professional experience has turned into months of delays, poor communication, and what appears to be misrepresentation.
After placing my order, I waited more than three months, calling weekly, only to be told late in the process that they were switching to a new lab. When the glasses finally arrived, I raised immediate concerns that the prescription did not feel accurate. I returned multiple times and was told that my eyes would adjust. They never did.
After that delay, I was offered backup lenses, but this did not address the core issue. If the prescription was wrong from the beginning, how were additional lenses supposed to help?
Later, the glasses accidentally fell off my desk and cracked. I brought them in for help with a repair and was told they would contact the Loewe representative. After weeks of silence and no response to my follow-up calls or emails, I contacted Loewe directly. To my shock, they informed me that Century City Optometry is not an authorized Loewe retailer and therefore could not assist me at all.
This is unacceptable and bordering on deceptive. I expected transparency and accountability, especially when paying designer-level prices. Selling luxury eyewear without being an authorized retailer raises serious questions.
Neither Century City Optometry nor Loewe has taken any meaningful steps to resolve the issue. I am sharing this to warn others. If you are planning to invest in high-end prescription eyewear, double-check that the provider is legitimate and will stand behind their products.
I am still open to a proper resolution, but if that does not happen, I will continue to share this experience across additional platforms to protect...

My recent visit to Loewe Beverly Hills was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible team led by Store Director Tiffany and Sales Associate Heidelle. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, understood, and genuinely cared for—a rare and refreshing experience in luxury retail.
Tiffany sets the tone with her effortless poise and attention to detail. She is a true leader who creates an environment of calm sophistication and warmth. Her deep knowledge of the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and seasonal collections brought the Loewe universe to life in a way that felt both inspiring and approachable.
Heidelle was equally outstanding—personable, attentive, and incredibly intuitive. She was patient, thorough, and enthusiastic about finding pieces that fit not only my style but also my size and comfort. I especially appreciated how inclusive and accessible the store felt, with options thoughtfully presented to suit a range of body types without compromising on Loewe’s design ethos.
Every interaction felt bespoke, never rushed. The team truly takes the time to understand the client, creating a luxury experience that’s as thoughtful as it is stylish. I left with pieces I love and a newfound appreciation for the Loewe brand—thanks to two people who genuinely embody its spirit.
If you’re in Beverly Hills, a visit to Loewe is a must—and make sure to ask for Tiffany and Heidelle. Their impeccable service is a reminder of what modern luxury should feel like: inclusive, intelligent, and...
Read moreYou know this brand is total scam with they don’t offer returns and only store credit. Are sales that bad you need to scam people?
I purchased a bag yesterday 12/4 and decided to return the bag the next day (less than 24 hours) 12/5 because I changed my mind about the bag being worth the $1500 I paid for and no longer wanted.
I was never informed of their return policy and the purchase being final sale nor did I sign my name next to anything terms and conditions stating final sale. On top of that the sales associate tells me the return policy is printed on the receipt and mentions that all designer brands have the same return policy. I'm sorry but no they don't. The biggest brands such as Chanel and Dior offer refunds within 30 days because they aren't SCAMMERS like you. The receipt shows a return policy covered by giant LOEWE logo which is laughable. How am I supposed to know about your return policy after I’ve made the purchase or read it when it’s covered by your giant logo. This brand clearly goes to great lengths to not be clear or inform the customer. I will be reporting them to the FTC and hope they are fined heavily for scamming customers this blatantly. Luckily I have a great bank that will refund my money. The sad part is I would have probably purchased other items in the long term but your bad business model clearly won't keep customers coming back or instill trust in purchasing from your...
