Love the space! Love the area for the kids particularly! Food was pretty good too! Service was slow which we didn’t even mind because our kids loved the play area and we had a beer and chatted. Somehow a burger got missed on our order (my husband or them- who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️) no big deal- kind of weird getting it fixed because of the ordering system- still no big deal. Guy in the food truck said he’d have it right up and my uncle went to pay. A little unfortunate because the long line he had to wait in to pay for the missed burger took a long time and his food was well cold by the time he got back. A little disappointed but still- not a ruined experience. Until someone(I have no idea her position) came to our table and rudely tried to explain what happened. Her attitude was honestly shocking. Between bites of his cold food my uncle advised her it was done and no need to explain. She snapped “do you want to hear what happened or not?” And when he said no she balled up the receipt and, I wish I was joking, stomped off and tossed it in the trash.

We are not hard people to please. All of us have worked in the food industry at some point and so we have Incredible grace for overworked people. I also understand they had just opened recently and that is why service was slow.

The slow service isn’t why we won’t go back-totally understandable and will improve with time.

The mix up isn’t why we won’t go back- again, it happens, we get it!

Having to wait in another long line and then eat cold food isn’t why we won’t go back. Again, working out the kinks of a new system.

We won’t go back because whoever that lady was, was shockingly rude. Nothing ruined our experience before our interaction with her. I hope it was just a bad day for her and not a reflection of her general attitude toward customers but either way she left an incredible sour mark on the...

When foothills opened their grange location my wife and i really liked it, the burgers were both big and good, the drinks were good and hit hard, the fries were crisp and hot, and the service was relatively quick considering they were always packed. Unfortunately in the last few months they've really gone down hill, but the meal we just got today was by far the most disappointing burger i've ever had. And i mean EVER. The patty was 1/8th inch thick in some spots, and no thicker than 1/4 inch at the thickest. If i hadn't been so hungry i would have returned it. My wife can't eat gluten and they were unfortunately out of gluten free buns (not their fault) so she ordered some loaded chilli cheese fries, the cheese wasn't even melted, it was just an order of fries with some cold cheese and a couple table spoons of beef on top. We also both got a kentucky sweet tea, which was pretty much the best part, and it tasted like a pint of iced tea with maybe a shot of bourbon in it. Lately it seems like they're always under staffed, and struggle to make due with what they have, which leads me to believe that the staff is over worked, underpaid, and under supplied.

If the reason my burger was so damn thin is because they were out of beef i'd wrather they just say they were out instead of flattening half an ounce of beef into a patty almost wide enough to cover the bun, and how hard is it to melt some cheese over some fries, really? We came to eat, paid $43, and we're still hungry.

This is in no way a criticism of the staff, but of management. Pay and train your employees appropriately, hire more than one or two at a time, and maybe you'll have a good locale, but i doubt we'll be...

My family and I have been here probably a dozen times including the previous location. We’ll easily spend over $100 for simple burgers for the 6 of us, tonight was no different. While getting ready to leave we were standing around the restroom area, which is surrounded by sand, toy trucks, and shovels. Sand has even covered the bathroom floor, it’s everywhere. My daughter picked up one of the shovels, because that’s what kids do in an area setup for playing with shovels. The guy cooking burgers yelled out of his food truck at her to stop putting sand in the trucks. Weird considering you created this play pit, but okay. Then my son comes out of the restroom not having heard his sister’s interaction, touches a toy truck and promptly gets yelled at from the food pickup window again. No explanation given. If you don’t like kids playing in the play area, clean it up and get rid of it. Otherwise, please do your job and stop harassing patrons through the pickup window. My kids weren’t even playing, just passing through to the restrooms and waiting on mom. That 60 seconds of interaction with this establishment has ruined my experience. I’ve probably spent well over $1,000 at foothills and will not be back. If you want a good burger from good people, try Mac’s or Trailhead. Hillman in old fort is also great. I’ve never left a restaurant review before, that I can remember, but I’ve also never experienced such a lack of professionalism while dining. Spend your...

It's the festival weekend, I came for the arts and music. There're lots of people. Wanted some local food so I ordered a Carolina Burger with fries and a Mimosa. The Mimosa was ready immediately as if it were pre-made. However the Burger was not out after around 30 minutes and I finally asked the staff to see if they might have missed my order. The staff was courteous, he checked and responded that it's under the process. I waited another 10 minutes and finally received the Burger. The Mimosa was kinda watered-down, barely much flavor. I liked the combination of chili and coleslaw with smash burger but the bun is too simple as it's probably just the grocery store bought bulk buns. I had high expectations for this place, but the experience was just okay overall. The decorations and atmosphere were pretty cool though, which I gave 4 stars.

Stopped for drinks with toddlers in tow on a beautiful summer day. Wonderful outdoor space with dozens of 12 person picnic tables in the shade. Large astroturf strip in the middle for lawn lounging, and a big shaded dirt pile (with trucks and digging equipment) out of the way for kids to play in. What a phenomenal idea and now that we've seen it, its shocking more places like this don't have kid-centric activities. We'd spend all day here if we were local! The only complaint is lack of cleaning/shower facilities. The restrooms ARE right next to the dirt pile, but a hose would be great. Beer selection is decent, with about a dozen options on tap and a decent list of craft cocktails. We glanced at the food menu and saw a half dozen burgers but had other dinner plans so did not get to try. We'll be back for sure.

I really like the location, etc. But the guy taking our order seemed to care less. We gave a 15% tip up front because you order, pay, and tip. But we were not sure what we were tipping on at that point. I was giving my $8 beer and my wife was directed where she could go fill her water glass. (do it yourself). The lady who brought our food out dropped it off, and we asked about napkins, ketchup, mustard, we were directed to go up and get it ourselves...and we did. Then, when we were done, we saw the signs that said "please bus your table". So, we tip on them taking our order and dropping it off? EVERYTHING ELSE is go do it yourself?? The burger and tots were excellent, but next time the tip will be left on the table based on the service...not up front with a guy who seemed to care less if we ordered or not.
