Nice historic station except some structural wear. Nice historic site. This is more of a historic site rather than an actual t station. First of all it’s not accessible for wheelchair and the city and t refuse to renovate and put elevators which is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR ADA violation for those sitting in a wheelchair. The cemetery is an excuse? Why don’t relocate the cemetery? This station only has one stairway exit on each platform. If your exit is blocked this is a FIRE TRAP! Why does the T leave old cars locked behind fence to rot when not in use it takes up space and limits ability for accessibility? Why didn’t the T close the station when the stair rails were being repainted? I got black paint all over my hands. This station is also scorching hot not fair for those who are sensitive to the heat and exacerbated fire risk. Several times I came announcements were shut off-once announcements were visual only-another you had to rely on seeing the train destination because it said trains arrive every range of minutes. No destination. This is not fair to blind people. Very loud screeching bad for your ears and those with sensory processing disorder you can even hear it at night when across the street. Only go here if you want to be deaf. Needs to be renovated...
Read moreLOL These tourists complaining that there's no bathrooms, and that it's "really loud". As far as I know, there isn't a single T stop with bathrooms, so stop complaining and go see your doctor if your incontinence is that bad. Plus, I think there are porta potties on the Common so just go there. "Really loud" T stops are completely normal, specifically for, you know, THE GREEN LINE??? These trains are well known to be really loud??? Are you that clueless? Please, I understand, you're new, and you haven't been to Boston that much. But please just don't leave a negative review on here if you're gonna complain this much about things that aren't that big of a deal.
By the way, I love the T so I'm...
Read moreThis is a nice T stop. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This station is located in Boston Common and very close to China Town, and every green line branch stops here, which is pretty convenient. However, this station is located on a curve, so trains create extremely loud screeching noises as they’re turning here, which probably causes long term hearing damage if you’re exposed to it repeatedly. I gave this station four stars because it’s in a great location, but I took a star off because trains here cause extremely loud screeching noises. It’s also important to note that the east and west bound platforms have separate entrances and are disconnected...
