I can not express how great our experience has been in The urban hound. My old little boy Diezel is a 10 year old Maltese and has been going to Urban-hound for Grooming , Daycare , training and boarding at hotel since 2011 . My second pupstar Pebbles ( chunky brown Havanese ) joined him in 2018.
Grooming department is amazing They keep up w the latest innovation and trends . They use all delicious Doggo friendly products to JOOJ the Doggos. It is a true spa Day for them . Viki and her team would always give Diezel and Pebbles breed special hair cuts and would change their looks season to season . And after each grooming my little floofs would walk out of the Spa in their brand new season appropriate bandana smelling and looking heavenly. Rebeca the owner is an amazing lady , who truly loves all her doggo students and she chooses her staff accordingly.
The Urban hound has been a second home to my fur babies for all their life , they have made many friends both doggo and human at the the urban hound. Itâs the placed that when I leave my dogs I know they are as loved and protected that they would be at...
Read moreBrought my French Bulldog in today for a grooming appointment and was very disappointed. We had used Urban Hound based on a recommendation and were very happy with our first appointment but this one was a bust. I tried calling to express my disappointment and the man who answered, I think his name was Alan, was very rude. I would have gone back to them again if I wasn't met with his hostility on the phone.
My concern was that he had poop on his butt when we got him back which they denied. The photo down below shows the remnants left behind from his butt on the car ride home. His nails were not cut properly as seen in the photo. And third, the most important part of taking a Frenchie is the ear cleaning and as you can see from the photo this was not properly done either. There is even more deeper in the ear canal but you cannot see it in the photo.
To their credit, they said we could bring him back for another cleaning which I appreciate. But it was the attitude on the phone that will make me never want to bring my puppy back...
Read moreWe feel so lucky to have found the Urban Hound. The company is run and staffed by folks who just do not like dogs -- they love dogs, they respect dogs, and they know how to treat dogs. For a dog owner like me who counts her dogs as kids, I could not imagine leaving them anywhere else but the Urban Hound. The owner, Rebecca, is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have encountered, and her dedication to taking care of dogs in a respectful, safe manner trickles down to her amazing staff. My dog, Floyd, goes to the training school. Nick, Ashley, Nicole, and Kim have managed to train a charmingly stubborn dog in a way I did not think possible. The grooming staff, led by Vicky, performs magic on my stinky but lovable dog, Claire. My pups feel so comfortable getting groomed, which was not always the case. Claire spends her days in the regular daycare session with amazing folks like Paul, Olivia, Saydie, Keri, Jen and so many others. And Brendan at the front desk is a ray...
