Michaels — Local services in Bradley

Wow.... I've been shopping at this Michael's location for as long as I can remember. The employees were always so nice and helpful. I have always enjoyed shopping here and haven't had any complaints until tonight. (11-18-17 somewhere between 4:45pm and 5:25 pm)The cashier who ringed me up, seemed very agitated and impatient. She never once smiled or spoke to me in a polite manner. She often rolled her eyes as she worked the register. I didn't get her name because she didn't even give me my receipt! I was in a rush and didn't realize it until I walked out with just my change in my hand. Terrible customer service! I called in and spoke with a manager about it and what do you know...They had already received a complaint about her so I wasn't the only one she had dealt with in such manner! The manager told me that they will take care of the situation but to be honest im not so sure considering the fact that the manager was actually on duty while this took place. You would think not by the way that cashier conducted herself. Holidays are approaching and I will be damned if I spend my money here with this type of customer service. There's always...

We love Michaels! And I love the discount that they give the teachers! The only trouble with this Michaels, at the location in Bradley Illinois is the woman that works as one of the cashiers, she's like a coupon Nazi. I've gone to Michaels for the 15 years I've been a teacher and I know the things that I can and cannot use with my teacher's discount. Anyway I did really enjoy their scavenger hunt that they held the other day for the little kids. My kids had a lot of fun running around and taking pictures in the store. I do wish they had a better selection of Aerospace Rockets and I was a little bit disappointed that they didn't have more stuff for...

I had an ok experience in the store, a young lady helped me out with my shopping. BUT why is it when I get to the front counter and hand the lady my cash she seemed to check each bill very thoroughly. I am a person of color and it just seems like she was being extra careful due to my race... I totally understand checking bills for counterfeit ones but if you're going to be that scrutinizing get one of those pens that tells you the money is fake. They don't cost much and it would save time. I will not be patronizing Bourbonnais Michael's anymore, I'll take my business to Hobby Lobby or...
