Altar'd State Southpark Mall — Local services in Charlotte

Visited for the first time today (5.31.25 approx. 1230pm) with my daughter who was looking for a graduation dress. I was so impressed: first with the customer service, second - the cleanliness, lastly - how neat and organized the store was. There was PLENTY of staff in the store. I mean , you turn and there was someone working and asking if they could help. We started gathering items and were asked if we’d like our items taken to the dressing room. We looked around a bit more then proceeded to the dressing room. PLENTY of “waiting room” seating and dressing rooms. Again, super impressed with the pleasant employees. Every single employee was eager to help. And not moaning and groaning or looking like they were just doing it because it’s their job. NO! They seemed to really enjoy their job!l! All of our items came from the sales rack which were significantly marked down and we decided to purchase the majority of the items we had tried on. We proceed to the register which had a small line building and immediately someone came from around the corner to check out guests on the opposite side. We were checked out in less than 5 min. No pushy sales. No over the top cross selling.

I seriously didn’t encounter one soul that had a bad attitude. I genuinely enjoyed my experience there. Kuddos to all the team members for providing...

The only reason I’m giving this store 4 stars is because of one staff member & the store itself i love otherwise it would get zero stars if I could give it! Our experience today was good up until we asked about the sale to a staff member she acted as if we were a burden to her ( she had to get back to her cell phone that seemed to be more important) she acted as she was to good to help anyone , then i noticed her talking to another staff member winch both of them were in their own world avoiding customers but my experience was made better by a young lady that was doing literally everything by herself! I wish i would’ve gotten her name ( she had long red hair) but we did tell her everyone else was not attentive & she was so eager to help everyone. Mind you she was running the dressing rooms, the floor helping everyone & the registers!! Give this girl a raise & get others eager to...

I hate to write a review like this because I honestly love this store. The ladies at tullabee are always so sweet and welcoming but the second I step into altrd state it’s a completely different vibe. This is the 3rd time I walked in without a welcome but ladies coming in after me did. The first two times I thought maybe coincidence or they didn’t see me. But after this last time I couldn’t let it go. Not verbalizing a hello is one thing but not even a smile could be managed? The only difference has ever been that most of the girls coming don’t look like me. So it seems like the black/brown women don’t get the same hello and sales pitch as others. The girl at the register or the girls discussing the store set up acknowledged me. It saddens me and I don’t like that I even feel the need to post this but the girls working here should be more aware how they are coming...
