We're long time Chattanooga residents, but hadn't visited the Chattanooga Market in several years.
The atmosphere is cheerful and pleasant, and there are a wide variety of vendors, selling everything from greenhouse flowers to BBQ sauce to crocheted dresses. There were also a number of food truck vendors selling rather unremarkable food.
But what is missing were local vendors.
Perhaps 10% seemed to be actual Chattanooga craftspeople or soap and candle makers. But everyone was nice! The vendors were friendly. The aisles were narrow and very crowded around 11am opening time. I don't recommend bringing a stroller of any kind here as there simply isn't space for it. But the area is beautiful and festive I recommend...
