Fun games, but the food is lackluster. And Dress Codes make it a hassle.

There a various games to play, zero video games though. It's all casual activity type games. All games except bowling are free. So you can make some fun of this place without breaking your wallet. It's a great time waster if you have kids waiting to jump at Neighboring Jump Park. Both Jump Park and Southside Social, are 2 sides of the same facility.

The food is lackluster though. It seems, they really leverage the bar for crowds and profitability. Their Lemon Pepper Wings, should be called Lemon Salt Wings. I have not had such a salty lot of wings in many many years. And never Lemon Pepper that salty. The dishes look nice though. But don't expect a great meal, it's just average food.

No desserts, they stopped doing desserts sometime in the past.

The staff are very nice.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, which is pretty cool.

Dress code issues have been major problem here. They pulled back on some dress codes, that were angering the public and even the City Councilman for their District said in part it was "...thinly-veiled attempts to exclude minorities from local businesses...". The owner apologized and as mentioned pulled that dress code. But even the existing dress code, which is their original code, now seeming to be more vigorously enforced. Could cause issues for some wanting to visit, based on their attire.

Personally, I have stopped going. Since it's a place with games, but certain kinds of active wear are restricted. And the whole controversy of this place causes...

I had my friend visiting from out of town and had raved to her about SS and other local spots I wanted to take her in the city. We arrive and decided we’d like to bowl and it was my treat. We were told by the hostess they would send a server over, after being at the cage to get shoes for bowling they once again said they would send a server over. We had gotten up early enough to get there an hour before brunch was over so we could enjoy the chicken biscuit I recommended to her. We kept waiting and waiting by the time we had already bowled half a game and still no server had approached us. The server to the booth next to us had came announced that brunch was about to be over... since nobody had approached us the whole time I try to wave down the server and she looked right at me and didn’t even entertain my intentions of asking her who our server was, she simply walked away. So after we walk up to the hostess to be moved outside a server said “well she’s gonna be your server no matter what, we don’t have sections.” I was told by two different people that we would have a different server and I’ll be damned.. she’s our server again and seems to keep saying “miscommunication.” No you were rude and so was the other server. There was no offer to rectify the situation or offer to refund the money for the wasted bowling. Won’t be coming back and as a native to Chattanooga downtown,...

Whuz up guys ! Welcome to the one of the Most popular tourist city in the Nation. This is better known as the Scenic City. This is one of many 😊 relaxing facilities in our Senic City 🏙️🌆. This Southside Social definitely is a fun place to ✅ out. Several games for the young folks looking to compete in bowling 🎳, pool tables, and the latest in cool 😎 🎵🎶 music. They also provided Big screen TV's to check out the games. That's whuz up. Especially now that football 🏈 season is here. The crowd is mostly young adults, with some families visiting tourist stopping by mostly during the day. Later in the evening the night time is the right time for the really cool 😎 crowd. They have a Hugh bar, and make sure you are of age. The food is delicious 😋 and the service is amazing. They do a great job to accommodate the diversity of the crowds. My daughter had her gender reveal here. The reveal was great 👍. It is a girl smile 😊. Shout-out 🗣️ to management ,and staff for providing every us with outstanding service. They are great for parties , reunions, birthdays, and of course gender reveal lol. Go check ✅ them out for yourself. I Love 💞...
