Pet Food Express — Local services in Citrus Heights

I'm so glad this shop opened in our neighborhood! I wish I'd been before now, but will DEFINITELY be a frequent flyer moving forward. I took my pup to check out the pet wash station. As soon as we walked in, he was greeted by three employees, given treats (with my permission), and loved on. We were walked over to the pet wash area and given a tour, shown where everything was, and even directed to a wash station with additional shampoo options for my furry friend. Came in to use the dog wash and left feeling a little disappointed. The water was cold even though the button says "warm water" I kept waiting for it to warm up. Hardly any shampoo dispenses regardless how many times you push the button (maybe bring your own shampoo but for $18 you shouldn't have to) and the dryer blew cold air. I have a German Shepherd/Lab mix so he has a very thick coat. I dried him for 15 minutes and he was still wet when we left. Not damp, wet. Might be better for small dogs. Really glad I didn't purchase...

Sales Associate, Ann in tge Citrus Heights store was wonderful! She was very helpful and assisted us with a very long list of essentials for our newly adopted rescue, Krikit. She was very attentive and a very good listener. What a great addition to your sales team with excellent customer service skills and knowledgeable with products.
