Torrid — Local services in Citrus Heights

10/7/25 I went to this store today. I tend to wander around looking for something to stand out to me. The store was empty except for maybe one lady that left. Anyway I noticed one of them following me around, but no big deal. I am mostly sure they dont know who steals and who doesn't. I asked for a dressing room to try on overalls. They were slightly rude so I tried to make conversation to ease their minds. The overalls were too big and I knew they didn't have the next size down. I would of tried on both sizes if they had both sizes. I have recently lost 40 lbs!! and not sure what size I'm wearing. I took them back and hung them up because I am nice. I was only one in there so they seen me do that. I told them thank you for time and headed out. The really tall young lady stopped me at the entrance and asked where the bag I was carrying was. I told her I didn't have one. I didn't even have a medium size purse, I had a mini crossbody crocheted bag by Sak. She said I had a JCPennys bag, I told her I didn't and left. That was the end of it, but for a minute I was honestly a little scared. I am 60 years old and didn't know if she was going to grab me? I then went to the Torrids in Folsom and was treated like a queen. I happily spent my money. I guess I understand why that store was empty and the Folsom store was packed. Do better ladies, your radar was way off. I definitely won't be going back to Sunrise mall Torrids in Citrus Heights, and that's a bummer cuz I've been going there for 5 yrs. The manager at the Sunrise store is extremely unfriendly, unhelpful, and has never had a smile on her face any time that I have visited, I don't know why she was chosen, I loved the old staff, and most of the replacement girls the new manager has hired since have rats nest hair and makeup from the night before raccoon eyes, not to mention being completely unprofessional in their attitudes and performances. You know, this place has been a game changer in the world of fashion for my wife. Amidst the beautiful outfits and sexy undergarments that she has acquired, my only complaint is that there aren't very many brightly colored items of clothing.
