I need to start buy saying that Arhaus makes quality furniture.
The problem with this company is once they sell you something, they no longer seem to care about you or your experience of receiving your purchase.
On the day I had scheduled delivery of 7 pieces of furniture, two didn't show up because they were broken. (Fine, this happens, I was understanding). They said they'd order replacements for me - two weeks go by and they never did. After ordering them again myself weeks later, I had to take time off from work 3 separate times to take delivery. They on each separate occasion called the morning of to tell me the pieces were broken again. It was like a bad dream...3 times they did this to me.
I decided to ultimately cancel one of the two a broken pieces and despite their reassurances of refunding the price on a specific date, it took weeks of calling and emailing to get the refund. The original order was placed in August. I just got a refund in December. The last piece they still owe me is now on backorder and is not expected to arrive for 4 more months.
Arhaus customer service passes you from one person to another and they all tell you a different story just to get off the phone with you. I can't tell you how many times they used the word "promise" without following through on said promise.
Arhaus also canceled a subsequent order on me without my authorization and then took weeks to refund the purchase price (after many calls and emails to find out the status).
I'm not sure why, but I ordered from them a 3rd time and they screwed up the order on the phone so had to later cancel/correct it by recharging my card for the purchase. They said they'd immediately refund my card for the first charge but it's been a over a week and they haven't yet. I've called them three times to find out the status of the refund and each time they assured me it would be taken care of the next day. It has yet to be refunded.
The customer experience I've had with Arhaus has been the worst I've ever experienced. From their online customer service, to their delivery to their outright...
Read moreWe recently completed a purchase at Arhaus, acquiring two Fisher Chairs and a chic Kenneth Martini Table, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience, from start to finish.
First and foremost, the furniture quality is outstanding. The Fisher Chairs are incredibly comfortable and beautifully upholstered, instantly becoming the focal point of our living space. They feel substantial, built to last, and perfectly blend a classic style with modern comfort. The Martini Table is the ideal size and weightâa true statement piece that adds an elegant, functional touch without taking up too much visual real estate. Itâs clear that Arhaus prioritizes craftsmanship.
However, the real standout of this experience was our sales consultant, Lauren, who was attentive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the entire Arhaus collection. She listened carefully to our design goals, offered insightful suggestions on fabrics and finishes, and made the decision process effortless and enjoyable. She expertly tracked our order, provided timely updates, and ensured everything was perfect right up to delivery. Lauren is a true professional and an absolute asset to the Arhaus team. She turned what could have been a stressful high-end purchase into a delightful experience. If you visit Arhaus, I highly recommend seeking out Lauren for expert, friendly guidance.
We love our new furniture and are thrilled with the service that...
Read moreMy daughter had been searching for a new sofa for couple of years. At my suggestion we went to Arhaus Easton. She spotted the leather sofa at the front of store right away , color was perfect, being leather would be long lasting and durable, she was so excited to make her first large purchase as an adult. Sofa arrives, before removing the plastic covering, she called the store to ask what product should be used to seal/protect the leather. She was told to spray it with distilled water. Turns out the leather is the kind that is not meant for sealant protection. Itâs meant to show cracks, creases, stains, a worn and weathered look. This was never mentioned during the sale process. This is not what she thought she bought. She called with concerns, asking to exchange the sofa , was told NO, that she had a fair representation of the sofa on the showroom floor. I guess the showroom has parties with guests eating/drinking while sitting on said sofa, a dog jumping up onto sofa, or a small child crawling across with a sippy cup, The manager couldnât be bothered to even have a conversation about the misrepresentation. So the sofa now lives with a quilt covering it always to avoid scratches, fingerprints, spills , life in general. Our experience is that Arhaus does not place value on customer satisfaction or customer retention. Will never walk into the...
