Moved to Columbus from Miami. Some close friends recommended this place saying it was awesome, but my experience proved otherwise. Sat at the tables on the side of the bar because the bar was full. Had to wait about 10 minutes, bartender (hair bun and Nirvana shirt) was too busy talking to his friends and/or other patrons about tattoos. The guy clearly seen me sit down. So, I got up and went to the bar. Asked the bartender, if anyone was serving the table. Response "No, you have to come up to get your drinks." Got it! Wish someone would have told me that. But, no worries. Ask for a Mojito. but no mint. Wow! A cocktail bar and no mint, cant you get that at the grocery store? Got it! Ask for a Jameson, but then thought I am at a cocktail bar, I can get that anywhere. So, ask the bartender "Can you make a good Manhattan or whats your favorite drink to make?" Bartender (hair bun and Nirvana shirt), responds, "Dude I am a Professional Bartender, I can make any drink." Not what I asked but you know what, let me just get the Jameson, you ruined the vibe. Got the double ($20) and sat back down. Then HEAR the bartender after going into my phone to ask my friends, if I got the right bar because the vibe and ATTITUDE was horrible, say "Let him write a google review I dont care." Got it! So here is your review. Would not have done that but hey you said it. But Ill go a bit further and provide you some advice about being a Bartender: (1) No one calls themself a Professional Bartender (its lame), try Mixologist. It sounds more exciting. You do mix drinks at a COCKTAIL Bar. Your first gig? (2) Never give all of your attention to one patron, at the cost of another sitting down waiting to get a drink, its not about you! Its about people buying the drinks and enjoying the atmosphere (the vibe). Plus you dont know who will be your regular BIG TIP PAYING customer. (3) Always have a favorite drink you make, if you don't then get one. People love recommendations and usually want to try something new. It creates a connection with people and a good atmosphere. Keeps people coming! Miami Beach and NYC Bartending 101. There's your review. BAD EXPERIENCE! Did leave the guy (hair bun and Nirvana shirt) a $5.00 tip, im...
Read moreI needed a space in Easton to host a cousins NYE party and spoke to the GM and had all of my hosting accommodation requests met. Being an event planner, I was anxious bc I hadn’t seen the space in person prior to my event, just a few photos. I wasn’t sure if everything would fit in the space and not look cluttered. My space was ready at the time I requested in the outdoor covered large area and my tables were reserved. I had more than enough room to host my event and my family were MORE than comfortable with all of the overhead powerful heaters. The managers & Bartenders were more than accommodating, even during the large NYE crowd. The Bartenders were efficient and thorough in all of the NYE chaos. The DJ played most of the classic songs we love. My cousins NYE party was a HUGE success. We all had an amazing time. The side bar was a space LIFESAVER! I had 2 additional tables to put food on as well. The Bartending staff were so helpful. It was super crowded but we all had so much fun. The ONLY recommendation I would make is to have 3 Bartenders in the large back bar for NYE, for faster drink service. If you are considering hosting an event at Easton, BEELINE is your place. Contact the GM, Kyle Hayes. He’s great and easy to work with. I attached pics of my event for reference to show how I had everything setup! I will definitely reach out again if I need to host another event. Thanks...
Read moreI work in Easton , so I love beeline. Haven’t gone in a while! So me and a group of my coworkers went in for a few drinks on New Year’s Eve night, realized a whole group of new bartenders.. it were three beautiful girls bartending. Didn’t know their names, but these girls were tore up!!!! & Not just off of liquor sadly, one had a short bob kinda reddish hair and was nodding off at the computer for over 35 minutes with her eyes rolling in and out of her head. All three girls had demeanors of being under the influence of drugs and of course alcohol. They seemed very confused like they were in a twilight zone!!! I’m a bartender myself and I was just very appalled!! I understand sometimes we can take a few shots with customers to have a good time, but we was truly concerned for their safety and how they’d even get home. I could go on and all about how much of a hot mess it looked, but I won’t. I hope they got home safe, and I hope the manager puts some rules into place. It...
