If 7-Eleven AT 211 North Ervay, Dallas, TX 75201 is no longer willing to accommodate people with disabilities such as Hearing Impairment / Deafness please respond to this post and let that be known to the public so they are aware. On 4/16/24 around 7:45pm my friend who happens to suffer from hearing loss decided to stop in for a few snacks, he proceed to use his IPHONE to communicate with me what type of hot food he wanted. When I noticed he was being undeceive and the line started to grow I told him step back for a second and let the people behind him checkout. Once the line was cleared he decided he wanted chips and a hot dog. The worker a very rude female African American woman stated that if we wanted to text we should go outside and we had been in the store about 5 minutes without making a purchase. I advised her just out of curiosity that he was indeed deaf and the device he was using was designed for people with hearing disabilities. She stated that she did not care, she was no longer going to service us and asked us to leave. If this worker cannot exhibit the proper decorum to patrons with or without disabilities, she should not be working front end customer service. Please contact me about this as this cannot be the norm for me or any other customer that decides to patronize franchise or corporate...
Read moreThe African Lady Employee is very rude. Unjustifiably rude. I had 1000 711 points to use, but could only use them for specific items. Many items they didn't have. Rather than ask me what I was getting, she told me I was in the store too long and harassed me in line. When I got to checkout, I grabbed a brownie and flipped it for her to scan. Since she was grumpy, she turned the incident on me seeming aggressive, when if she wouldn't have talked to me like a child, things would have been ok. I'm 30 (her talking down to me when I couldn't find: Pizza ready, 711 donuts, no breakfast sandwich, and other items I could have redeemed 1000 points for). Rather than sell me the brownie, she denied me and told me to go to another store. This is BY FAR the worst 711 in Dallas. And all because of a dumb employee who blames customers for her own insecurities and not herself. I was in there less than 10 minutes and she wanted to make me out to have been there 20(who wants to be in a 711 for 20 minutes?!). Doubt I'll be shopping at this one. The other 711s are 1000× better than this one. An employee should lose her job or be reprimanded and have to say sorry for that stuff. Probably a good lesson as to not go to this...
Read moreThis store is a pocket of hell manifested on Earth to be honest. Last night, I bought a phone charger that completely didn't work, went back for a refund as soon as I saw it didn't work. The employee who sold it to me told me he wasn't allowed to process refunds and to come back tomorrow and speak to the manager.
Spoke to the manager who is always generally rude and dismissive. Honestly, I sympathize given the unsafe feeling of this part of downtown and how irate customers can be, but her attitude is just poor with anyone. I've only been a nice and frequent customer.
Anyway, she printed me off a receipt, flippantly pointed to the bottom of it and turned her back on me while we were still speaking. I asked her to tell me what she was even pointing out as she did it too quickly and she said "Electronics are final sale."
I wasn't told that before I bought it but honestly, I've never bought an item that didn't work on the very first use so I was just sold something faulty to begin with. I told her "But it didn't even work at all."
She shrugged her shoulders. This isn't how I was raised. This isn't how you treat people. I am incredibly disappointed and I...
