I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I had to share this experience. I recently visited CorePower Yoga with a friend who was trying out a first-time class. She was genuinely interested in getting to know the gym and the yoga offerings, but from the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely unwelcoming and dismissive.
During the class, my friend was having a hard time with some of the poses, so I quietly tried to help her understand what to do. Instead of offering any support or understanding, the instructor Anna Bar actually yelled at us through her microphone in front of the whole class. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for.
It’s really disappointing—yoga is supposed to be about community, learning, and support, especially for newcomers. This experience was the complete opposite. My friend left feeling embarrassed and discouraged, and I don’t think either of us will...
Read moreI took my first Yoga Sculpt class at this location with Caroline, and I truly enjoyed it! I was a bit intimidated at first, but Caroline’s patience and encouragement made me feel so comfortable. The space was clean and welcoming, and although the class was challenging, I never felt pressured or judged for not being perfect. I really didn’t know what to expect coming in to this class, and I definitely underestimated how intense a heated class could be. I had to step out a couple of times to catch my breath, but no one made me feel bad about it. Caroline reassured me that the first class is tough, but as you continue coming, it gets easier and more manageable. She even shared that many people have similar first experiences which made me feel 100% times better. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m excited...
Read moreOver a year ago I was regularly attending hot yoga classes before I moved to Texas. I had such a good experience with my classes and I was nervous I wasn't going to find the same sort of experience once I moved to the Dallas are. After a lot of pondering and research I settled on CorePower Yoga. I recently attended two classes and I love the pacing of the class. The vinyasa is challenging while allowing room for variations. The facilities area clean and the classes aren't too crowded so it's easy to find your own spot and have plenty of space for the poses. I'm really glad I signed up for a membership here. It's made me excited about hot yoga all over again and I can't wait to continue on with...
