We were here for dinner and overall it was just ok. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great but the food felt lackluster.
The karage was decent but we got some pieces that were probably from the last order and it was way over fried, making it hard instead of crispy. The taste of the chicken was good, but the typical mayo/sriracha dipping sauce was nothing new. 3/5
We got 2 grilled beef dishes, the hanger miso and harami beef. The flavor of both dishes was just fine, except for the fact that both of them tasted very similar, making them indistinguishable from each other if I ate them with my eyes closed. The quality of the meat seemed high, but the cooking method seems to strip away the texture of the meat. Ours looked to be cooked medium well under low wet heat, so the texture of the beef felt like it was steamed instead of grilled. I was expecting to taste some char or smokiness from the meat, but I was sorely disappointed. 3/5
Takoyaki was just fine, nothing much wrong with it but nothing great about it. 3/5
The sukiyaki rice bowl was kind of sad. We got like 5 pieces of meat and onions on top. Sukiyaki usually is saucy, cooked with veggies and eggs; this was more of a sad looking gyudon disguised as a sukiyaki in a semi hot bowl. I think the purpose of the bowl was to char the rice to make it crispy, but it wasn't hot enough and it just made the rice chewy instead. 3/5
The desserts were highly disappointing. The "Japanese" cheesecake felt like it was just some store bought American cheesecake that has matcha powder sprinkled on the bottom to make it "Japanese". The taiyaki was an interesting take on the classic dessert. I don't think I've ever seen taiyaki deep fried before, and for good reason. The outer shell was rock hard, inside was just meh at best. 1/5
Overall, most of the food was just mediocre. If the food has the correct cooking temperature applied to them, I feel like it would have...

Rating: ★★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of dining at JingHe Japanese Asian Fusion, and it was a delightful experience worthy of a 5-star review. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that made for an enjoyable dining experience.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavors. I had the opportunity to try several items from their menu, and each one exceeded my expectations.
Mochi Ice Cream The mochi ice cream was a perfect blend of soft, chewy mochi exterior with a creamy and flavorful ice cream filling. It was a refreshing and delightful dessert that rounded off the meal beautifully. The texture was spot on, and the taste was incredibly satisfying.
Seaweed Salad The seaweed salad was a vibrant and fresh appetizer. The seaweed was perfectly seasoned with sesame seeds, adding a nice crunch and a hint of nuttiness. It was a light and healthy start to the meal, and the portion size was generous.
Spicy Cucumber Salad The spicy cucumber salad was another standout dish. The cucumbers were crisp and fresh, and the spicy seasoning added just the right amount of kick. It was a well-balanced dish that complemented the other items perfectly.
Drinks The drink selection was also impressive. I enjoyed a bottle of soju, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The soju was smooth and refreshing, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Overall, JingHe Japanese Asian Fusion is a fantastic restaurant that offers high-quality food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal in a...
Read moreWe got there around 8:50 pm ( they close at 10 pm ) 1 hour 10 minutes before closing, so when we got to the host station we didnt feel welcomed, on the opposite way we felt like we where making them have a hard time to serve us, she said "you only have 45 min to order food" , and then the host lady ask us do you want a table or you want to seat at the bar? We said we prefer the table, but then she said , you better seat at the bar because the tables are dirty and they need to be cleaned, so we followed the hostess to the bar, we were seated around 8:53 pm, and then our server at bar got like an attitude and handed a piece of paper that we have to fill out with the rolls you want ( only 3 rolls per round) ( 4 sashimi or nigiri per round) ,based on reviews all round are about 20-25 min to come or more, and you have a limit of only 3 per round, so we asked the server, since we are 2 different people is 3 roll per person? So i can fill out my own paper and the other person his own paper? She inmediately said NO!, that even if it is 4 people at the same table it would only be 3 roll and 4 nagiri or sashimi pieces per table per round. I asked her what about if i come my self only one person table, she said it would be the same limit for a 1 person or 4 people table. It was 9 pm already, if we would order 1 round it would take around 20-25 minutes or more, by the time that the first round would come to the table , the kitchen would be close, she got upset because we wanted to order in different pieces of papers and we ended leaving the restaurant and not coming never anymore. For a 40$ all you can eat, you deserve better! Save your time and your money and go somewhere else with...
