A Disrespectful & Unprofessional Experience As a diamond-level member at multiple Life Time locations with consistent significant spending at the club for membership, personal training, and spa services annually for the last 5 years, I am beyond disappointed with the consistent lack of respect and professionalism from their spa management and staff.
Over the past 2+ years, I have experienced multiple last-minute appointment cancellations (including two within the last three days), zero communication or proactive solutions, and a complete disregard for customer loyalty. When I’ve had to cancel an appointment, I’ve always paid in full and even tipped out of respect for the staff’s time. Yet, when the spa cancels on me — often with less than an hour’s notice — there is no apology, no alternative solutions offered, and no respect shown to a loyal customer.
To make matters worse, my messages and texts to management have often gone unanswered, and several staff members have canceled my appointments only to be seen later enjoying activities in the gym. This pattern of neglect is not just disappointing but downright unprofessional and unacceptable. LifeSpa, in particular, has shown zero commitment to providing quality service or maintaining even the most basic level of respect for its clients. It’s become abundantly clear that loyalty is a one-way street with Life Time Fitness.
As someone who has referred many new members to this location and maintained a significant financial relationship with Life Time over the past several years, I am appalled by the way I’ve been treated.
If you're considering becoming a member at Life Time Fitness Dallas Highland Park or using LifeSpa's services, I highly recommend reconsidering. This is NOT how any customer, let alone a loyal high-spending one, should be treated. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy here is shocking. Life Time, you owe it to your members to do better. Respect, professionalism, and customer service should be at the core of your brand, not an afterthought.
