I liked the concept of this class and workout studio. I took the intensity class which is a weightlifting class. Each person (about 10 stations) has their own designated squat rack which is fully stocked with kettle bells, dumbbells, etc. There were a few flaws to this class, however. I found that the music was too loud while the instructor was providing us with information for the next pair of exercises. Lastly, as it was my first class, the coach gave me not one but TWO shoutouts and asked the rest of the class to clap it up for me (I was mortified) - I know some people might like this, but it is not something that I personally enjoyed. As someone who has several years in the fitness industry as a coach, I think itās worth checking out if you are looking to get started with weight training and donāt know where to start and enjoy group fitness. Iām 30 years old and have not stuck to a workout program for more than a few weeks in my entire life but I have been going strong at fit social club for almost 4 months! I do the intensity program. I havenāt tried the others but I have friends who say the other classes are awesome too. When I first started I could barely lift the bar alone and now Iām putting 25lbs on each side! The workouts are fun, music is good and Iāve taken that class with all the instructors who offer it and every single one of them is awesome. I saw someone below complain about the shoutouts but as someone who is always worried if Iām ādoing it rightā those shoutouts really helped motivate me and give me confidence to keep pushing forward.
