On August 13, I made an appointment for 2 o’clock in the afternoon to have two different services. The young lady who came in to do my first appointment was a few minutes late and when she got into the room with me, asked me what I had chosen, and when I responded, she said they didn’t do it like that… It was a body scrub and I had received a brush when I had one before when I asked her to use it she said They don’t do that. I excused myself and went to lock my locker and told her I’d be right back. When I came back in, I laid down and Waited for my service. No one came in. No one came back. I got dressed And went out to the lobby to ask what was happening here cause it was already 20 minutes into my time… When the lady at the front desk told me that the girl that was supposed to perform Exfoliation was uncomfortable with me And therefore I was being canceled. I asked about the second service. That that person was uncomfortable with me also. I never saw the second person. I have no idea what they were In regards to being uncomfortable. The salon claims to be upscale, and I have used their services before.. If this is an upscale salon, they need to hire more mature people than whiny little children. That say, they are uncomfortable… Uncomfortable with what if you consider yourself upscale then you need to act Appropriately since you work with the public. I’ve already found replacements . I don’t know if your business has changed Hands, but maybe it should because you’re hiring practices leave a lot...
Read moreI booked with Jeanie online for microneedling. I specifically chose her since she was a nurse and I am also in the medical field so that made me want a nurse. When she pulled me back into her room she was very rushed and said “how did you get on my schedule?” I said I booked online. she replied oh that makes sense because usually they save my spots for the more expensive procedures. I was so in shock I didn’t know what to say.🤯 she was like well we will put this numbing cream on and get started. she left the room and I wanted to leave too. When she came back I said if you want someone else to do my treatment I’m totally fine with that. she said no it’s fine you are already on my schedule. So we got started and this was the most painful thing I have ever endured and I have had at least three other microneedling treatments at other places. Tears were rolling down my face and finally we were done. I was horrified when I saw the exact circles of the skinpen especially under my eyes. i had my treatment 3 months ago and still have busted blood vessel under one eye and I’ve been told I may have had some fat loss from overheating of the tissue. Getting filler to help with this. Please please do not go to Jeanie here and find management that cares. I called and sent pictures and the manager said I’m sorry she spoke to you that way….. that is it. I wasn’t going to leave this review but now after paying for filler and trying to fix the busted blood vessel I don’t want this to happen...
Read moreWhen they say “you get what you pay for” it’s the truth! Yes this place is expensive but it’s worth it. I came for a mother and daughter spa day. I got the rejoice package for me and my mom with upgrades to sports Massage; added on a facial for me and pedicure for her. Our total was $583.
Here are the highlights: attended to as soon as I came in for our 1230 appt, personal robe /sandals/towel/locker for me to use through out, offered complimentary drinks (wine, green tea, or water) throughout, the general ambience, and of course the quality treatments, as well as catered service (I asked for what I wanted and areas to focus on during my massage and I got it— shout out to ShaQara(don’t know if I spelled that right)). If I have any complaints, it’s the 2 other clients (that may have even been coming from the gym) that decided to spread conspiracy theories or high charged “information” on the COVID vaccine… the first lady even had the audacity to tell me “take off your mask, you’re not sick ” .
So if at all possible, I would encourage Pure Spa and Salon to remind clients not to force their views on other clients and let people relax; I came to the spa to treat myself and my mom after a hard 6 months without vacation, working 16h/day for 12 days at a time. I did not come to have antivaxx rhetoric...
