Parking is somewhere. It's downtown so they are catering mainly to the offices and medical staff in the area. They generally tend to walk.
Atmosphere: welcoming, casual, and downtown worker friendly.
Staff: Very friendly!
They do burgers. I can eat almost anything so don't take my taste buds & think it automatically transfers to your own taste. Anyways, my bacon cheeseburger was outstanding as burgers go. The buns are made fresh. I didn't know I was a fan of hamburger buns but they were good. You order, they give you the meats, bun, & fries. You then go and dress your food as you see fit. If you're familiar with Fuddruckers, then it's similar to that. The facility is medium size. I believe take out orders are a large part of their clientele. So that makes sense. There hours are peculiar to me. They close at 2:30pm everyday and are closed on Saturday & Sunday. I'm assuming this place is jam packed during the lunch rush. You know what they say about assuming but in this case I think I'm safe.
I recommend this burger spot if you're in the area and...
Read moreBest BURGER and FRIES in Dallas!! From fresh homemade buns to juicy bacon and perfectly crisp fires, you can never go wrong here. One of my favorite parts you ask? Open sauce and topping bar where you can put as much toppings on your burger as you like. As you can see from the picture, I like my Ranch and BBQ sauce and a whole lot of onions. I moved to Dallas a few months ago for work and come here every Friday, and they have never disappointed. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is is top of line. The owner is so nice and fun, just makes an all around great experience. What else can I say? Prices are good, music is great, lots of seating for the whole family! If you live in Dallas or are visiting, come have the best burger and service at the Trolly Stop Cafe! Ohh and they have Amazing CHURROS!!!! Hands...
Read moreTootsie's is quick, and the homemade buns and toppings bar are fantastic. The issue I had is their burger patties are too small. I felt a bit like it was a reenactment of the old Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" commercial. The bun was big, soft, full of flavor, and ability to load your burger with toppings of your choice is great, but the patty was not even close to the diameter of the bun. It was much smaller, and very thin. I understand the thin in order to speed the cooking, but perhaps consider a larger diameter patty, or at least a second (cheap, $1?) option to add a second regular patty on.
I may go back to try their avocado BLT, but I think their slogan of "Best Burgers in Dallas" is a huge misnomer, as I can tell you a lot of places that...
