I am giving them five stars because they are a BUS LINE not a bus (I'm not going to hurt your feelings) line, but there were some downfalls. There were homeless people EVERYWHERE, (obviously outside because it's downtown Las Vegas, what can you do, right?) but the bad thing was, there were hobos inside as well! Passed out next to the lockers! Too many hood rats as well selling dope & other narcotics. One security guard, he was a fat latino male, acting all hard because he wears a shirt that says "security" on it and a cheap pin of a star, he was a complete assh*le. I asked him a simple question as to where the line for Los Angeles is at, he stared at me, then pointed, towards the back of the building, he didn't even say anything. I was over it, I just checked the board of departures instead of getting in an argument with some 27 year old, high school dropout, still living at home with mom, that makes $8.25 an hour. So I waited. The bus got there, and we were supposed to start boarding at 11:45PM because the bus departs at 12:01AM, we didn't start boarding till 12 all because of that lazy security guard! So we ended up leaving around 12:10AM. I got on my bus, no assigned seats which was alright I guess. I got to my destination hassle free, I didn't check in luggage because I just had a carry on. Got to L.A. at the time specified so I wasn't complaining. For my trip back to Las Vegas, I do gotta say, the bus smelled like straight up urine, but what can you do, it had a bathroom inside of it, plus it goes away once it seeps into your lungs & you've been breathing it in for six hours straight. Anyways I got back to Vegas in one piece with no delays or anything so that's the only reason why I'm giving greyhound five stars other than that, all your staff are terrible, the security company people you employ are horrible, & your business is really taking a downfall...
Read moreWorst customer service experience in my life, continuously year after year. Greyhound needs to educate ALL of their employees on how to communicate without making threats or making fun of everybody. Yes, the working class can be intolerant most of the time but stop treating every single paying customer like they owe you something! It was your choice to work there. If you all hate your lives that bad as Greyhound employee's, change your career choice! Every single Greyhound employee that I have met across the country is volunteering negative information about the company to the general public. Stop screaming at people and understand that if we are a day late for a bus because of driver or vehicle error, it is the companies duty to satisfy us as a paying customer and not verbally attack us for having to sleep on Greyhound's benches all night, continuously for days, for what should be an over night trip. It is almost always an inconvience to ride the bus these days but especially passing through the Vegas terminal. Are there no honest people left in Vegas to hire? All they do is lie and push you away to deal with the next unsatisfied customer. This is the worst Greyhound station in the country hands down. I witnessed frustration in the employees eyes before I arrived at the counter but to be humiliated publicly for half and hour just for someone to finally realize that I was right the entire time can not go without expressing some kind of negative feedback. The whole staff deserves it minus the janitor and one beautiful lady who was not behind...

After receiving exemplary service from your company I am writing to make a complaint against James Craig whom was riding in the front seats of your bus wearing your company uniform and his name tag , taking the disabled place that my 70 year old mother could of used to make transition on and off the bus much easier.
This however is not my primary complaint against this individual. About 10 minutes from Barstow Mr James Craig took it apon himself to stand up and discipline my children sitting behind me , both of whom were only talking in lowered voices and were 2 hours into a 5 hour bus trip.
He ignored the elderly ladies talking loudly on the phone and decided to exercise his outrage at being woken up from his slumber. I believe he picked the easiest target on the bus because he was purely in an obviously bad mood.
All of your other staff have been wonderful with patience and understanding of the difficulty of traveling with children.
I had quite a time convincing an upset 5 year old boy that he was even allowed on the bus.
This was followed by him slurping down his Popeyes's chicken and casting dirty looks at me between the gap between the seats
I look forward to your response to this complaint.
I think you can tell by the tone of my email that I will not be using Greyhound again but a response to my complaint with regards to what actions will be taken will go some way to convincing me otherwise
Kind...
