I really love this store. It's got a wonderful energy inside, and I often spend an hour or more just browsing. They have a really extensive collection of raw, tumbled, carved, and showcase mineral specimens (with lots of locally sourced specimens), and the staff is always eager to help find something specific or help investigate if a piece isn't labeled. I've had fantastic, sometimes lengthy conversations with staff members about philosophy and astrophysics, and yet never once have I felt pressured or "sold to" by any of them. On the contrary, I've found the owner herself to be exceedingly generous, friendly, and willing to help me source anything I'm looking for.
They sell comfortable handmade clothing, books about metaphysics, an incredible custom journal/notebook collection, figurines and statuettes, ritual supplies like candles, incense, herbs, pendulums, and satchels, fine jewelry, singing bowls (both brass and crystal!) and rare/collectible items. This place has become a sort of comfortable retreat for me; one I visit if I want a calm moment, a break from the weather, or just somewhere to find a friendly face.
As if that weren't enough of a reason to visit, I should mention that the prices are more than reasonable for the area, often beating the other local stone shops by a wide margin. If you're visiting Glenwood, or if you're like me - a local who until recently just passed this place by - you should definitely treat yourself and make sure to visit. I promise you...

I did come back. One of the best things about Glenwood for me is that it's pretty easily walkable, and I like to walk here. As always, I've found another cool, colorful bauble here. (The other one's in my ear!) The new girl, fits well with the vibe of the store. The store folds in on itself - every time you see something, there's more somethings. I feel like it's hard to see everything here, just because there's so much stuff. That's what keeps bringing me back here.
2023-05-(?) This is a unique and cool store. First impressions on walking in, is that it SMELLS nice. After inhaling diesel walking along Grand, this store is a pleasant space to step into. There's a LOT of stuff here, something really for anyone. Whether or not you're specifically into crystals and things, if you're into just generally colorful and interesting things, this is a cool spot. Special shout-out to the guy with the long white beard. (not the one pictured here. That's me.) John knows his stuff, and is just generally fun to...
Read moreStopped by Crystal Tunning with some friends who were on the hunt for specific rose quartz, and I ended up having a wonderful experience of my own. I asked the owner about fertility crystals, and she not only took the time to look up helpful options, but walked around the store with me to point out pieces that could support that intention. I ended up choosing a rattle geode and a Shiva Lingam stone for my husband—both of which felt like a meaningful fit thanks to her insight.
She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely interested in helping me find something that resonated. The store is a bit cozy (read: tight quarters), but what it lacks in space it absolutely makes up for in quality and selection. Highly recommend if you're looking for unique crystals and...
