Updated Review (2025) this used to be one of my go to shops for fishing and hunting gear, however, they don’t seem to care much about Customer Service these days and seem to be fine overcharging locals. I politely asked if the kid working the counter if he could turn down the loud and angry German music, as it’s hard to hear my own thoughts, and he got visibly frustrated and smacked the remote down after doing so. He then charged me $30 for 5 flies. 3 of them were streamers, but come on. Unless something changes, I won’t be shopping here again with my hunting or fishing buddies. As a fellow business owner in the valley, it’s disappointing to say the least.

(2024 review) These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I can’t even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. Buyers beware!! My spouse and I accidentally parked in this companies private parking lot and went and grabbed some things from the drug store nearby, within 20 minutes there was a boot on our car. We called the police department and they shared that they do not boot vehicles. I saw a fant, sunburnt sign that said “Glenwood springs outdoors parking only” so I went in the store and apologized to the owner and explained we’re from out of town and very sorry. The guy was tolerant of me but rude to my Hispanic boyfriend. He looked at my boyfriend and said “$100 cash to get it off” we were in shock. Not the treatment I would expect from a small, nice mountain down. When I spoke to the police department again after the fact they said it has happened to a lot of people, including unaware elderly people. Wet disappointed with this store. Website advertised that they have an archery range with equipment rentals. With that information I drove over an hour from Vail to partake in some archery range practice. I have been planning to buy a bow very soon here and a somewhat local shop seemed to be the way to go. To my dismay, when I arrived I was told they stopped renting out equipment several months ago and could do nothing for me. For the amount of time and money I wasted, the lack of sympathy from the staff was less than professional. A simple update of your website takes but a few minutes, which could have saved someone like me over an hour out of my weekend and over 100 miles worth in gas spent, which we all know is as close to unaffordable as could possibly be these days.
