Went to this bar with 3 of my friends to enjoy some food and drinks. Our food and drinks were great. However, we cannot say the same about our waiter. We asked him to split our bill in the very beginning so we could pay for our own food and drinks. He took 2 of our drink orders but then avoided taking our drink orders later in the evening so we asked another, very nice young lady, if she would take our drink order. She agreed and was nice about it. Mind you, there are only four of us with only 3 of us actually eating, 4 drinks each. When we asked our waiter to print our receipt, he gave us attitude and said that he needed each of our credit cards to keep a running tab because we were confusing him. We gave him our credit cards and instead of figuring out our tab, he brought our debit cards back to us and said nothing. He walked away so we went over to the bartender. The bartender said he was too busy to split up the bill and said we needed to talk to our waiter. Our waiter finally appeared with an attitude because he had to do what he is paid to do. He split our bill and handed us an un-itemized receipt. When I asked for an itemized receipt from the waiter he stated that they don’t do that there. The problem with his answer is that one of our friends had just paid her bill 30 minutes before the rest of us and...you guessed it...the bill was itemized. Needless to say the service here sucked and we will...

I’ve been to some of the top cocktail bars in New York City, places known for innovation, ambience, and service, and Native Sons in Glenwood Springs absolutely blew me away. This place doesn’t just meet the bar; it raises it.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was effortlessly cool but welcoming. A perfect mix of craft cocktail culture and Colorado soul. The owner, Ricky, is a true master of his craft. His knowledge of tequila and mezcal is unreal — not just recommending bottles, but telling the story and flavor behind every pour. You can feel the passion.
We were lucky enough to be served by Burley and Cassidy, and let me tell you… they’re magicians behind the bar. Every drink was balanced, bold, and creative. You don’t just get a cocktail here — you get a full sensory experience. They made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first time in.
This is the kind of place you tell your friends about — the spot you wish you had in your own city. Whether you’re a cocktail nerd or just looking for good people and an unforgettable night, Native Sons delivers on every level.
10/10 — can’t wait...
Read moreI’m a travel worker and bartenders and waiters are sort of the easier folks to get to know when I’m new in the area. When I say that this is the place to be as a wanderer I really mean it. It’s a good place to get a gauge on the area and see the lay of the land through the other patrons that visit. First off the bartenders are never rude, and after watching them work I’d say Brandi is the kindest, most hardworking one of them. I’ve been there several times and it’s so good to see her face, and I think she can tell because she’s so attentive. I’m a sucker for watching bartenders at their craft and she’s the one that’s always making rounds with this gorgeous smile on her face. It’s fun watching people gravitate to her like me. When I need a refill I know I can rely on Brandi and it’s shocking to see her handle me and others so effortlessly.
10/10 recommend this place if you’re in town and want music and good drinks and company if you’re a loner like me. They have so many events that make people watching fun and really good security. Definitely the place to party and meet strangers if...
