The owner was extremely rude to my mother and my family. He was following us everywhere and when my mom walked in, he left from us and started following her everywhere. She told me she was leaving because she doesn’t like being followed and his response was, “I’m not following you but if you feel that way then maybe you are doing something wrong.” She said, “no sir I was looking but I don’t like the feeling of being stared at and followed” and he was like, “what is your problem.” As she leaves he proceeds to ask me what is her problem. I told my husband I was leaving because I did not appreciate the way he was talking to her, as I’m walking out, he’s starts yelling at me asking what our problem is. I told him that I do not appreciate the way he treats his customers. As I’m wheeling my 2 week old daughter out, trying to get my very hyperactive 4 year old to come on, and watching my 13 year old niece, he’s trying to push us out & screaming for us to get out of his store. My family and I visit Helen several times a year and have never had this experience!! I will never go back...

I saw a tee shirt in the window I had to have for my granddaughter so I went in to buy one but they were not displayed near the window. I rounded the store as did my sister but neither of us could find any. I went to the window took the shirt with hanger out of the window with one hand ( not a difficult task) . The shop- keep was clearly irritated with the family in front of me whose teen children couldn't decide what they wanted nor the size they wanted so he was eager to help me . I was going to make my quick transaction and get out of his hair and I did but it wasn't without being chastised for taking the shirt off the display. He said I should have asked if I couldn't find it and then huffed and puffed and rolled his eyes at me as he took my $35 and my apologies for the $10 shirt . I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he was teaching the younger 20 something yr old lady possibly his daughter how NOT to treat customers. I don't live too far from Helen but I won't be back to this...

I wish I could give him -10 starts, he doesn’t even deserve any stars whatsoever. This guy was extremely disrespectful and rude. My teenager liked this one shirt so much but the shirt had a small little defect, so my husband told him and he said if u don’t like it then don’t buy it. So my daughter put the shirt back in a different place. He walked out and looked for us. Instead of coming to the parents he came to my young daughter and told her he couldn’t find the shirt she put back. Long story short, he accused us of stealing something because my daughter didn’t put a shirt in its right spot. My daughter walked to the store and showed him where the t-shirt was. He ruined their morals, Helen is beautiful place, if you don’t want to mess up your vacation don’t walk in in this store. As said in previous comments, he treated my husband and daughter...
