This is not a typical American salon with oils/lotions and massage. But the extra money is worth the precision especially for special occasions. They are friendly, efficient, and have amazing attention to detail! Very professional.

I went back to get my nails done for my elopement in April 2024. Again, they were amazing!! This is a gel manicure on my real nails done by Yuka! I asked to keep the shape of my natural nail.

They did not have the exact shade of the color I wanted, so they mixed a light pink with white to get the exact color I was looking for and I was so happy with it. Yuka made sure to test the color on one nail and made sure I was happy with it.

Yuka had amazing attention to detail. Both times I’ve gone, they wore magnifying lenses while prepping, shaping, and painting your nails so they can see exactly how the gel/paint is lying on the nail before curing it with the light. Great cuticle care. Uses different nail drills for cuticles, nail shaping, and nail smoothing and buffing. Uses a precise, sharp edged paint brush to paint your nails rather than the nail polish brush. Uses toothpicks and a sharp edged paint brush with alcohol to clean up any edges or perfectly shape at the cuticle. It took just over one hour. My Japanese gel manicure lasted 5 weeks and I only removed it because my nails had grown. The gel and little metal accents were still intact and well attached to my nails. Everyone there was very polite and welcoming. They were equally pleasant to all the customers there and to each other, and they spoke English and Japanese with different customers. It was very fun and relaxing for me. My appointment started on time and Yuki was very meticulous and fast. I chose a design from the samples, then Yuki customized the colors for me. As she worked, she checked at each step for approval. My fingers were in bad shape when I arrived and she made them beautiful. I made my appointment online a few days ahead of time. They contacted me via text and sent me good walking directions as well as a photo of the outside of the building showing me where to go - very helpful since the outside of the building just says "Watumull" and my driver couldn't find the address. Best gel manicure I’ve ever gotten! This was back in July 2023. I couldn’t remember who did my nails but they told me it was either Yuka or Miko. These lasted 3 weeks maybe even 4! So much attention to detail to make all of my nails look even across both hands. So happy my boyfriend booked me an appointment here. I was in and out in an hour. They gave very detailed instructions on how to find their space on the third floor. The space felt clean and quiet even with another customer getting a pedi behind me. The price might be a little more than other salons but it is definitely worth it. I went to another salon for a cheaper price and was so unhappy with my mani.
