As a loyal NC Studio Tech user, I recently decided to switch to MACâs serum powered foundation and ventured into this store with high hopes. However, my first experience with their new line was anything but satisfactory.
Upon entering the store, I found only one associate working the floor. Despite my obvious need for assistance, she was engrossed in applying makeup for another customer, leaving me feeling neglected and overlooked.
Throughout my visit, I had to continuously interrupt her to ask for help, which made me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer. Moreover, I endured a nearly unbearable wait of almost 10 minutes at the checkout counter, as the same associate prioritized finishing up with the other clientâs makeup. I was the only other customer in the store!
This lack of attention to store patrons and the prolonged checkout process left me thoroughly dissatisfied. In hindsight, I regret not opting for the Rice University location, where I might have received the service and attention I deserved.

One associate was applying makeup, one associate was sitting down on her phone, and the 3rd associate was helping a customer. I walked around with someone with me.. Looking lost .
