I am beside myself. I ordered a ring online to save time, because I would be picking it up on my way home from military duty, and all I want to do is get home asap. I wait in traffic and line to pick this order up, of which online says the store only has 1. I open the brand new box, and the ring is so damaged, it can't even go on a finger. The silver is smashed beyond repair, and stones are missing. The fact that its box is new means the picker never cared to open it to see if the product was even there, or that they DID and knowingly wanted to sell it anyway and profit at my loss (because again, the ring was so damaged, you could not miss any of the damage after just a glance),l. The extent of the damage could not have been done without also damaging the original box. So, somewhere along the line, this was knowingly reboxed and restocked to sell rather than thrown away. The store never should have had it in inventory for me to order, but even so, the picker should have cancelled the order immediately. I have not been contacted or offered anything for my troubles as of yet. No one at the store was concerned about it. Just gave me a normal, routine refund. It looks like this area has tons of Kohl's stores to choose from, so I highly, highly suggest exhausting all options before using this store...

A shirt I purchased online on Black Friday showed up a month late after I had to call and ask where it was.
For Christmas I spent almost $600 online and one of the shirts was wrong. I called and complained. They sent me the wrong shirt AGAIN!
Yesterday I called the Southport store saying that I wanted to exchange a few things and repurchase online in store & was told I could. (Size issue and quality issue.) Also told I could exchange a fitbit my mom got me without a receipt bc she died of cancer and I don't know where the receipt is.
Today they wouldn't do the exchange/reorder in the correct sizes because I would lose my Kohls cash.... it's an EVEN EXCHANGE!!... and then wouldn't give me money back on one of the items when I had a receipt or let me exchange the fitbit when that's not what I was told over the phone when I called ahead the day before!!
Wow! Good job Kohls. Maybe I should take my money somewhere else! Horrible service over and over online and in store! Now I'm stuck with in store credit and told I needed reorder things on my own and to come back later to return so I didn't lose my Kohls cash. Kind of backwards... most stores would just reorder for you and let you do the return!...
Read moreI would love to give this Kohl's a 5 star review for many reasons, like: the store is always very clean, they are very helpful when you have any questions and they are very respectful to the customers. BUT I give it a 3 star because of the wait times and overcrowding. Talk about being claustrophobic! Holy Moly! I advise not to go during a sale, the holidays, or even on the weekends. I mean, unless you want to wait for almost an hour for a register to open up or take the chance of having your body buttcheek to buttcheek sandwiched, lol. No exaggeration. I'm in a wheelchair and it is NOT pretty! Don't even get me started about trying to maneuver around the store.. it is not very wheelchair friendly ONLY when it's crowded.
