After a few years of hand me down furniture it was absolutely time for us to upgrade the family to some thing that wasn’t second hand. Style and comfort were just as important as the opportunity to positively contribute to our credit score. Our sales representative, Spencer, explained all of our financing options (they do have an option that allows you to skip the hard credit check as well, an option for flexibility not found with other furniture stores) we opted to go with the credit check option giving us a greater time frame to take advantage of the same as cash offer. The approval came in very quickly and Spencer was very clear with what our options would be and what to anticipate(ish) with shipping. We looked at a few options, kids in tow (it is also worth mentioning that we mistakenly showed up 30 minutes before closing and from being greeted at the door to being walked out—since it was past closing time, I know, we hated being those people too— the entire staff team was incredibly kind and patient) and it didn’t take us long to decide on the Dream modular sectional. I’m absolutely elated about this piece of furniture! It was like sitting on a cloud, lush deep seats, absolute perfection for our family. I think what I appreciate most is how thoughtful Spencer was in helping guide us through the process, without having to ask he made sure to include a protection plan for the couch which we were happy to learn will cover accidental damage (within reason) for the next 5 years! We have 3 children and the last one on the way so it will be absolutely essential to cover us in the case of stains. Once everything was ready to go the policy was to ensure everything was correct, one of the managers came over to walk us through and verify the order piece by piece and go over all the details, even verifying upholstery choice and major cross streets for delivery. What’s more Bob’s furniture isn’t just a sign and go process, we left with contact information for our sales rep and the understanding that they will be in contact from now until the actual delivery, I did appreciate that they took the time to clarify that estimated delivery is 150% estimated. Could be sooner, could be later but there would be no wondering because as soon as they had word, we would be kept in the loop. It was a very personal process for a piece of furniture that will literally be at the center of our lives. I cannot begin to thank the staff enough and moving forward I am more than confident this is the location where I will continue to take my family’s business. Read moreI had never been to Bob’s but I’ve heard great things. So when my husband and I needed a new couch, I wanted to check it out. I wasn’t expecting Bob’s to have anything in our budget based on what I had seen online but I figured what the heck…let’s go look. My husband and I walked in the door and we were greeted my Nick. He asked if we had been there before, what we were looking for and if we needed any help. We told him we were looking for a couch, a sectional in particular and he pointed us in the right direction. He said “If you need anything, I’ll pop in from time to time but I’m not gonna follow you around like the other places do!” Which really took the pressure off! We surprisingly did find a couch in our budget but we weren’t thrilled with the color and so we called Nick over and with his infinite knowledge, he explained the couch did come in a different color-which we were pleased with. Throughout the entire process, we never felt rushed, stressed or that feeling you get when you know someone is just trying to make a sale! Nick did a great job of letting us talk ourselves into buying the couch-especially when he already knew the chaise part of the couch was gonna be for me….smart man! Nick made such an impression, that from now on, any furniture needs we have, we will be coming back to Bob’s to see him! Read morePurchased a couch here in 2021, it's saggy and done. Paid for the 5 year warranty. Discovered a hole in the part of the couch that pulls out to extend the couch because a spring popped down and stabbed the cushion. They said the warranty doesn't cover that. I don't want to buy furniture every 2-3 years... Especially expensive furniture. Also purchased my mattress, adjustable base, and bedframe from Bob's. Love my bedframe and adjustable base, but the mattress sucks and is completely done and it's only 1.5 yrs old. Also too expensive for how quickly it wore out. Haven't attempted the warranty with that because they've already showed lack of customer service and caring about their furniture quality. Now I know not to keep giving them money, though. Too many other furniture stores in the area with the same price point to stick with one without customer care/customer service. DEFINITELY don't pay all the extra charges and fees for "special" delivery, "warranty" goof proof stuff. Cute scam though, lesson learned. 🤷🏼♀️ I've spoken to many other customers (some we referred before truly knowing the company and subpar products) who have struggled with warranties and claims of having things covered. One even stated a claim was closed because "they attempted to contact the customer many times with no response." Phone records showed zero contact attempts (even with the customer calling to check in on the process repeatedly!) and no emails were sent.
