I purchased a pair of cutting shears and a pair of thinning shears here almost a week ago as I was in need of a back up pair. They are awful. Used them twice and they pulled or bent the hair each time. So I have the packaging and original receipt and took them back to the same store. The girl up front said she had to check with her store manager in back because of their policy. She came back up front and said due to health reasons they canāt take them as they are just like clipper blades. On the return policy on the back of the receipt it she the sales are final for piercing equipment, body jewelry, clipper blades, and hair for hair extensions. The policy continues to say that clippers and shears can be returned or returned for in store credit within 60 days but only with original receipt - which I have. I called customer service and they said I most definitely can return them.
So I called the store closest to my home as Iām at work to check what time they closed - since the pandemic has operating hours crazy everywhere - and the woman there said all sales regarding tools are final. So again I call the nice man at customer service. If this was $5 Iād say fine but itās $50 for shears that are trash. I just wanted a cheaper back up pair. He said heād call whichever store I wanted to go to because they are wrong. So I walked back into the Stringtown location as I work nearby and I saw the same sweet girl up front and I said I donāt wanna be that person to complain but customer service AND your receipt says I can return these. The manager or who I assume to be manager there said āall sales are final I donāt know what to tell you and walked away. So the customer service man put me on hold and called the store. The manager came up to answer the phone then took the phone in the back room. She came back up and said maāam Iāll help you over here (I ended up waiting because she didnāt have $ in her drawer). The customer service man came back on the phone and said he let them know the correct policy moving forward.
I could see if I was returning clipper blades with someoneās exfoliated skin all in them. But these were two pairs of shears Iād used twice, they were trash and I disinfected them before coming in to return them. I can understand a misunderstanding of policy but the customer service from the manager and from the woman at the other store on the phone was deplorable. I hope they were just having a bad day and arenāt always like this. The sweet young girl up front at this location was nice and just doing as she was told so no hard feelings...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas me and my wife's first time at this store this location didn't have a good experience for being there for the first time when we arrived right when we walked through the door didn't really have anytime to look around for what my wife wanted walked right in to just get asked what are u looking for from one of the employees didn't even give us time to look around before she asked that then as my wife's still looking at things they had in the store or things that she may of wanted the next employee lady comes up and ask can I help you and my wife told her we already been helped I understand she was just seeing how we were doing but if we needed help we of asked for it felt like they just follow guests visiting there around like watch everything and every move u make which is not professional in my opinion then not only that while we was there neither one of the females working there acknowledged that I was even there with my wife they just asked her what was she looking for and told her to have a good day as we were leaving when I do believe there was two of us there was not just one person we should of been acknowledged as 2 people and we wasn't they made it seem like it was just one person in there shopping instead of 2 we were together in there shopping and they didn't acknowledged that didn't once say how are u guys or didn't say u too have a good day wasn't the best experience as it was being our first time there i wouldn't recommend this location to anyone really hoped for better service than what we've got...

It didnāt matter where we went or what we were looking at, we were in the way of the girls working. We stepped aside and waited for them several times. Mostly because we were pushed out of the way.One girl was having quite an obnoxious interaction with another customer where we were obviously in the way and I had to push my daughter out of the aisle to get out of the way. It even made this customer chuckle when she was told completely incorrect info. We were again completely pushed out of the way of the other girl who was pulling orders lost as could be, yelling across the store while repeating directions to go to exactly where I was standing. Saying excuse me is appropriate. Standing damn near on top of someone until they move, is not. Iāll go to the āscaryā Eastland store the next time. I imagine it will be...
