Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Jackson Township

We went to eat here on Thursday about 930 pm after we ordered our food and started eating it was only about 940pm and we had just started to eat and the staff rudely turned the lights to the parking lot off clearly knowing we were out there eating as we had just ordered. They don't close till 10!!! Our food was semi edible as well to say the least. It was buy one get one free wing night and the wings felt like they pulled them out of the refridgerator, the burger was highly overcooked and so dry it was crumbling apart. The only thing that was good was the cheese sticks and onion rings but most likely only because they had to drop them fresh. And I thought that Sonic was known for their drinks, but the limeades we got had no flavor and tasted like flat Sprite not to mention the staff kept looking out the window at us after they turned off we thought that was one of the worst experiences we have had in a long time. I don't care if you close at 10 and we order at 930 that was extremely rude!!!! Will never eat at this location again and don't recommend anyone else going here.. i.love Sonic but will not be spending any more money at the one...

I rarely write reviews, but this experience demands one. On July 4, 2025, my wife and 22-year-old son visited this Sonic location. After my son accidentally entered the exit lane, an employee in his personal vehicle aggressively screamed and threatened them. When my wife tried to speak with a manager, the same employee physically blocked her from leaving—an act that legally qualifies as unlawful restraint.

The manager then joined in yelling and threatening my family. The situation escalated to the point where 911 was called, and police had to intervene just so my family could safely receive the food they had already paid for.

Despite reporting this serious incident to Sonic corporate (Ticket #250704000680), I have yet to receive any follow-up or acknowledgment. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable.

I urge Sonic to take immediate action to investigate and hold accountable the employees involved. Until then, I cannot recommend this...

Line was wrapped around the building and I’m not surprised due to the launch of their new pickle meal and that’s why we were there. The line moved pretty quickly which is the only good thing about this visit. I didn’t get the right side I asked for tater tots got french fries not a big deal both potatoes I asked for the ones that come with the pickle meal didn’t get those got the plain french fries couldn’t even really go back around or knock on the door because it was so busy you couldn’t park anywhere because the parking lot is so badly done that you’d get blocked in no matter where you park. got home burgers are a mess. I loved sonic growing up this sonic has kind of ruined sonic for me because every time I go there there seems to be some type of issue. most of the issues are little or not a big deal.
