I noticed that this Target had been undergoing remodeling over the summer, so having the store a bit disheveled seemed excusable at the time. I do not know what continues to plage this location, but it is an absolute mess all the time. I have seen messy stores during the holiday season, and it is understandable with the influx of foot traffic. This Target location looks like it has been looted post earthquake! There are piles of merchandise scattered all over the store and displays that look half completed. I realize retailers may still be struggling with hiring and staffing levels, but this location feels like they have given up. I have seen plenty of associates roaming throughout the store without much interaction. I am not sure what has happened here, but none of the other locations in Columbus look like this.

I am a regular customer, I was there on Friday, June 21, doing my shopping, and I found this product that I regularly buy, and I had bought it in my previous purchase, the bad thing is that it has expired since April and I already ate it an expiration box, I didn't realize until I took out the last bar and then I proceeded to check the box I bought on Friday and it turns out that it also had the same expiration date 04/24/2024, I made both purchases in June, it's terrible to think Target is a pretty expensive place so that they have expired products for 2 months, they should remove them from the shelves. This violates health regulations.

Finally went back to this specific Target store. They definitely have all there current home trends and earthy tones and colors that I like. We went through just about every department and looked around. We were looking for a new comforter set for my daughter, unfortunately they were very limited on their selection of comforters at all. The ones they did have were just so expensive and I didn’t think they were worth that price at all. They sold lots of individual blankets but yet again the prices were definitely a shock. Unfortunately, prices on most everything everywhere has just shot through the roof at most stores. Ugh.

I will not darken the doorstep of THIS target location EVER again. Once was enough. The employees are rude and have zero concept of customer service let alone just plain old courtesy. That being said, this is the first negative experience that I have had in a Target - guess I will drive the extra 15 miles to the Hilliard store. Anyway, I spent and hour and a half shopping and had a cart full of goodies - I'm guessing $400 dollars worth of home goods, clothing, makeup, etc. Anyway, after being in the store that long I needed to go to the rest room. I parked my cart close to the customer service desk, looked around for someone to tell that I would be back and saw the CS person walking into the office adjacent to the restroom area. I placed my cart in such a way that I hoped it did not look abandoned only to find it was completely gone when I returned a few minutes later. Let me say right now, that I completely understand them thinking the cart had been left and doing something with it, but here is where Target FAILED miserably. I asked the CS person (the one who had walked into the office that I couldn't tell I would be back) where my cart was. She said it had probably been 'reshopped'. I said, really, because I just left it a few minutes ago, you walked in the office back there right in front of me. She just stared at me. So I say, okay, does that mean I can perhaps find my cart being pushed around the store by an employee who is putting back my items? She shrugged (I could have smacked her at this point). I take off, visiting the departments I had visited and found nothing. I will tell you that this was mid-afternoon on a weekday and the store was not busy, so scanning the store wasn't difficult. I returned to the CS desk to find the same rude CS person and approached the desk. I said I had scanned the store and had not found an employee with my cart - JUST as I said this I noticed a HUGE Smith & Hawkin basket that I had selected in one of their carts for restocking and said, that was my basket. She said what else did you have? I said, so you took my cart, and put all my stuff in carts to be restocked, let me walk all around the store fruitlessly and were rude too?! She just smirked at me. This is when I smiled and very nicely stated that a store who would pay her salary would get none of my money and I turned and walked out. I wasn't sarcastic, I wasn't unkind, but I WILL NOT put up with someone in a CS position being a...

Customer service... what's that? I wanted to buy my wife a nice little thing to tell her I was thinking about her, so I bought her some slippers. It turns out they weren't stiched correctly and ripped in the first day. The receipt states a 90 return policy. Open items can be returned ONLY at the pure discretion of the store. In essence, it's a Forever 21 policy without the full discretion of telling you so. I attempted to return with original reciept, both slippers, and the original tag. What normal person keeps these unless they have a good reason to do so? I have better things to do with my life.

Catch 22: The slippers were worn. If they're worn, you can't return them. You can't tell if a seam will tear without actually wearing them. Treat Target's return policy like Forever 21 and you will never be unpleasantly surprised.

The point: Try to return a worn item to this Target, and they will deny your return. This is the second time this has happened to us at this particular target. Cheap quality, bitchy customer service, and you have a solid memory of a negative experience at local retail. Did I mention we got a Starbucks that tasted like water and had to return that too? Imagine the...

A few days b4 Christmas, I placed an order online for a gift. I was able to pay for the order and was told I would be notified when I can pick up the order. It was probably 1 or 2 hours before I got that notice so I went to the store. I was able to walk up to the counter. Unfortunately, I didn't have my order # on me but was looking for it on my phone. As this occured, the rep/emp asked my husband for my information so she could find the order. She was able to do so and had my order within moments. Everything was done with 5 minutes. It was fast and easy. My only small complaint was the employee was a bit curt but in no way rude. I believe it had more to do with how busy the store was and being a few days out from Christmas. Maybe it was because I didn't have the order # but despite that she helped me quickly and efficiently. Would I order online with pick up in store again? YES, I would. I could have even stayed in my car and had the order brought to my car but I wanted to shop the store because Target! :) And it was a few days...
