When I first starting coming to Brittany, I knew very little on how to manage my hair ( I have THICK 4c hair, I've been natural for over 10 years and knew the basic wash & condition). When I first met her/ started coming to her she made an everlasting impression immediately. Firstly she took her time and finger detangled my hair which was huge. Secondly she talked me through every process and took so much care. She didn't rush the process or make me rushed or as though my hair was difficult to deal with. When it came time to style my hair ( I went with a silk press) what stood out to me is that I didn't smell my hair burning (as I'm sure most of us can attest that's a common smell that's associated with thick corse hair getting straightened). When she was finished I had tears in my eyes and told her this is the first time I felt as though someone actually cared about my hair & hair health and most importantly took their time with it. She taught me and showed me what products I should be using when washing my hair at home. Ever since I've been coming to her I dare NOT go to anyone else. I've been coming to her for a bit over a year and a half now and she's the only person I trust wholeheartedly with my hair. The amount of growth I've had since coming to her is amazing and I know its because of the care she takes. I have been going to Britteny ever since October of last year. I came to her when my hair needed some serious help. It was very damaged. I went in knowing she can get it back to growing and being healthy again. I have been following her on instagram , and notice she was an hair- care stylist. All her clients had long and healthy hair. We talk about the state of my hair and how she can help. She explained to me how I needed to do my part as well.
