This branch always cancels client appointment without notice. My appointments got cancelled twice. The first time, they told me the banker was not there and directed me to another banker, which is fine although they asked me to wait for extra half an hour. The second time is so ridiculous. It's a rainy day. I walked in the rain for half an hour to get the bank. Then the lady at the counter told me, the banker can't make it because it's raining and there's a marathon and the banker can't drive in. She smiled at me and didn't even try to offer any solution to make up their fault. The banker didn't send me any notification about the cancellation. The bankers cancel your appointment without notice and don't prepare any backup plan??? Then what's the point to make an appointment??? I just as a customer, I walked in the rain for half an hour to make the appointment. But you, as the professional banker, you cancel that at any minute??? And the lady told me she didn't know the roads will be closed due to the marathon until the very morning. I mean, that's your office. Why didn't any of you pay attention to? Is that my fault? And the lady even told me the doctors always cancel their appointment as well. How come a professional people work with customer in this way? After so many back and forth, the lady finally told me she can make a note for me and told the banker to reschedule the meeting with me. But the "note" happened before as well in this branch. A banker told me they would let the other banker know and they never do that. They are so unprofessional and never stand...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad two bad walk-in experiences with them. Arrogant attitude from a senior male banker (around 60 years old). Things just can't work out in that branch. First, they made me wait for almost an hour, while the banker only helped one customer in the first 25 minutes. For the following 30 minutes, I had no idea what he was doing, and no one kept me updated. It felt like they only wanted to serve one person per hour. As a walk-in customer, you might say dude, thatās understandable. OK, then he beckoned me over with his palm facing down, standing behind his desk, without any greeting. I felt uncomfortable at that moment, but still followed his Order. Not responding to that condescending gesture was a huge mistake. After five minutes, the banker told me that if I was applying for a credit card, Iād need to bring utility bills ā so he couldnāt help me today. But that was a lie guys. I had my rental lease, ID, SSN, bank statement, and debit card ā which are more than enough as address proof. Apparently, he just wanted to teach me a lesson for not booking an appointment and for not following their "rules." When I got home, I applied online (without any utility bills) and got instant approval for my CSP. So sad I can't remember the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe bank where banking is impossible. Three weeks to set up a checking account. No access to standard banking products like a money market account. Service that cable companies would be embarrassed about. I most recently found out that in some situations Chase debits money from your account at the ATM and then knowingly and purposefully does not give the customer the money (different from an ATM out of order or a machine failure). This is a working machine that debits money from your account and then the slip says "we took your money but sorry but we aren't giving you the cash." The bank agreed that they didn't dispense the money and would not give me the money that they took out of my account. They suggested that I call and start a three week process where an "investigation" will happen and where I'll be "notified by mail of the results." I strongly recommend that you work with any bank that is not Chase. You'll be happier, you can do actual banking, it will be more convenient, you won't get the runaround, the bank won't make their problem your problem and you won't have money stolen from you. Certainly the branch manager, Shanese, should not be working in a job...
