House of Jerky is a hidden gem for jerky lovers! My boys are obsessed over beef jerky and someone told us about The House of Jerky so of course we had to stop by since we were in the area. Its a quaint little shop and has every type of beef jerky that you could imagine and then some! The man working there (I forget his name) was very friendly and helpful and even gave the kids some samples. The variety of flavors is impressive, and the staff's hospitality adds to the charm of the place. Sampled a few flavors and left with a bagful of favorites. Read moreWhat a fantastic place! This establishment had the largest, most impressive selection of jerky I have ever seen in my life. The woman taking care of the store was extremely helpful. I'm super happy that I finally got to find some edible bugs and give them a try ! The scorpion was my favorite, it tasted meaty & salty. The super worms like cashews. The crickets like peanut shells and the ants mabye like sawdust. Everything I chose was unflavored. If you want to try flavored edible bugs they have a whole bunch of those as well. Also there was a couple of jerky samples I took on the way out the door that I look forward to trying. One of them is supposed to be real spicy....

Well what an added bonus . * Note * Slight correction to the packaging on the DROEWORS -- THAT is how it's spelt - pronounced DROOER VORSE it means DRY SAUSAGE .
