Mountain Witch — Local services in Jim Thorpe

I have lived with PTSD related nightmares for years, in which I am always alone and lost and looking for somewhere to hide. I have learned to live with my daytime ghosts, but still the dreams came through.

I asked Jamie at Mountain Witch Tarot and Apothecary, if there was something in her work that might help. She had to wait until the right day in the lunar cycle and then she gave me an amulet in a pretty little bag and told me to sit with it for a few moments before bed that night, and then put it in my pillowcase.

After the second night, I stopped having that nightmare. No more fear dreams. When I dream now I am not alone, and I’m not lost. Instead I am with the people I love who have left this life, and we seem to be on some sort of quest together!

I hesitate to write this review, only because Jamie Lutz is related to me. But what I am sharing here is important enough that it even overcomes my reluctance to share so much about myself so publicly. My point being that Jamie doesn’t do this work for the money- she does it to help people. And she knew a way to help me where talk therapy, hypnotherapy, and acupuncture failed! I only bought a beginner level book here that Is very interesting and well organized (and seems to have been written by the store owner - I didn’t realize at time of purchase) but wish I had another day to look through the store and purchase a reading and maybe more items. I really appreciate that this store was unique with hand crafted items as opposed to other occult type stores that are gimmicky and sell the same old plastic goods.
