I have always had a positive shopping experience at Burlington however, this location was a horrible experience.
I was needing to try on some dress pants in the fitting room and was waiting in line for the associate to count my items. She assisted the customer in front of me, and then directed her attention to someone behind me that she knew. I was still standing and waiting my turn when the associate turned to a customer that had just arrived and reprimanded him for attempting to try on dress shoes in the fitting room. She then turned her attention back to her acquaintance and kept chatting. I then walked past her and into the fitting room. After I had tried on the clothes, I then placed the unwanted clothes on the clothing rack. I returned to try on more clothes and attempted to walk into the fitting room like before. The associate turned to me and began to reprimand me for not allowing her the opportunity to count my items. I told her that she did not count my items before and she told me that she had to as a camera was on her. She asked how many items I had; I told her that I had five items. After attempting to walk into the fitting room again, she reprimanded me a third time. She said that she had to personally count the items herself. After all of this, she ended up miscounting my items and gave me the wrong garment amount placard. I will not be trying on clothes again if this associate is working the...

I stopped into this location on May 21 in the late afternoon to buy a few household items. I went to the registers on one side of the store (they were not blocked off) and waited for a cashier. Nobody was in the area, so I peeked around the corner and found two employees deeply engaged in conversation. I got their attention and asked if someone could help me with my purchases. The young man turned halfway around and said, "Those registers are closed," then proceeded to turn back to his friend to continue what must have been an essential conversation. I wasn't directed to another register, and the brush off I was given was all the proof I needed to confirm that Burlington is so flush with cash that my piddly, little purchase wasn't needed by them. I left my items on counter of the closed registers and walked right out. That was my first time into this store and it will be my last. In the future I'll be sure to take my money to a retailer who needs my business and has employees that understand what good customer...

Today I was standing in line waiting to check out and she reprimanded a cashier very loudly in a very condescending tone. She was very hostile towards the cashier and yelled out āDonāt look at me that wayā.
All the cashier was trying to do was verify a customerās identification. The customer was hostile with the cashier so the cashier radioed management for help.
A younger manager or associate came up first and let the cashier know because the customer is an employee she didnāt need to verify the customerās identification. The cashier shared that she had never saw this individual and was simply following the instructions on the pos system.
Then Jenny came up next very hostile and aggressively yelling at the cashier.
Another customer that was at the next register had told the associate who was checking out and Jenny that they were very rude and needed to apologize. Jenny walked off without apologizing.
This is a toxic workplace environment and I feel sorry for...
