I should of read the reviews before buying from that store. I purchased some nice Gold earings for my daughter's 20th birthday and I wanted a twist back to make them more secure so they told me they could change it and to come back to get it in 1 hour to pick them up. I did and everything seem fine until I gave the earings to my daughter on her birthday 1 month later (never touched the earings beside in the store) and as soon as she put the first one on her ear, the back pin fell off...so I called and emailed the company many times to get it fixed or return it for something else, I wasn't even asking for full refund but just to make it right. They kept telling me the earrings were fine when I left the store so it's my problem now. I was not going to take that B.S. argument and kept explaining the situation and they finally said they would change them once they got new inventory back in. Unfortunately, over 1 year later they never responded to my emails or calls again and they never fixed my issues and now I'm stuck with $400 earings we can't use. I gave them many chances to redeem themselves but they decided to do nothing so that is why I'm writing this review. I really thought they were a nice family business that I wanted to support, but unfortunately, they are not and I definitely do not recommend...

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience at Jewel Palace was nothing short of an absolute nightmare, and I am beyond furious.

Two years ago, they sold me a ring that was missing a stone. When I came back to address the issue, they had the audacity to blame me for the missing stone, completely denying any fault on their part. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the staff’s attitude was downright rude and unprofessional. They acted like it was an inconvenience for me to ask for the product I paid for.

I also bought a chain for my necklace that they promised was real gold. Not only did the chain irritate my neck and turn it green (classic sign of cheap materials), but when I went back to complain, they just shrugged it off like it was nothing. I’m convinced this place is full of liars and cheats who are more interested in making a quick buck than actually selling quality products.

I will never step foot in Jewel Palace again, and I highly recommend that you don’t either unless you want to be scammed and treated like garbage.

Do yourself a favor, PLEASE go...

My mom and sisters visited this store when at Port in Ketchikan during our Royal Caribbean Alaskan Cruise. Uncertain of trustworthy places to buy gold, we received a recommendation from a local waitress who was adorned with jewelry she had purchased from this jeweler. We originally went to purchase jewelry for only our mother, but after seeing the integrity and fair pricing of Peter, three others of us bought as well. Peter was so patient with all of us tourists as we kept coming back for more! His assistant Roxy was great and spoiled us with beer. They were able to size two rings in half an hour just in time to get us back to the ship before it took off. I felt good about the quality of my purchase, with my hopes confirmed when I returned home and had my ring examined. My local jeweler said it was beautiful and that I had gotten a great deal!
