Read moreI am unable to eat fish or seafood, so when a friend of ours suggested popping in here for a quick lunch while on our cruise, I was hesitant. I saw that they had a pulled pork sandwich and decided to go for it. I had the said sandwich, our friend had the salmon burger and my daughter had the clam chowder and crab cakes. Not a single one of us left dissatisfied. The food was awesome and our service was too notch.
What really sealed the deal was that I accidentally left a bag of locally obtained items and the lengths that were gone through to get my purchases back to me. Samina tried to get it to my ship but the gangway was already up. But they went even further and offered to ship it to me! I am so thankful to be able to get my purchase back!
Not only did we leave with a great meal in our bellies and great service while we were there but Samina was so thoughtful and helpful in helping out this forgetful tourist. Many thanks to you for an amazing...
Read moreWe stopped in Ketchikan on a cruise. The larger well-known places had lines that were literally two blocks long - thousands of cruise ship passengers trying to scarf something down before reembarking. We walked away from the bustle, and stumbled into the Krabby Crab shack.
Excellent! The vibe was calm, the place was spotlessly clean and not stuffed with people. The service was friendly.
The food was crazy good - sweet, fresh crab legs, chowder. The beer was ice cold.
This was one of the best, most memorable, fun meals we had during an 11 day cruise.
Before you go, check the website. The menu is limited, and it isn't cheap. You know why? Have you seen what crab fisherman have to go through to catch king crab? How the catches have been dwindling?
We felt that we paid a fair price for great meal in a chill setting that was a great respite from the folks hawking tee-shirts and diamonds on the main strip. Hope that doesn't sound crabby!...
