BOOK IT. My husband and I went to Ketchikan on our honeymoon. It was on his bucket list to catch halibut and king salmon. Because I get seasick even walking, I was nervous about this from the jump. We decided to book a private tour instead of a cruise excursion, just in case I got sick, and both took Dramamine the night before. Todd called us as soon as our ship docked to let us know that he was waiting at the end of our cruise dock for us. We didn’t have to worry about getting into town or walking more than just down the ramp. We filled out some quick paperwork and set out to fish. Within the first 10 minutes, we were catching fish. Todd could tell just by the way things were moving if the fish was going to be a keeper or not. He was very knowledgeable about the whole process and about all the different fish and wildlife we saw, he constantly checked to make sure we were feeling all right, and even turned on the heater inside the cabin when he could tell I was freezing. Of the four other couples we met on the ship, we were the only ones that were able to catch fish successfully that were large enough to keep and send home. After catching king salmon, he drove us over to a great spot to catch halibut so that my husband could check both boxes. He took us to have our fish shipped home and got us back to the dock on time even with an unexpected port time change, and gave us great recommendations on places to visit on the remainder of our trip. We can’t wait to fish with Todd again. It was my first fishing experience ever, but it definitely won’t be my last. Firstly what an incredible experience ! Captain Todd was amazing, and very accommodating, with snacks and beverages.

On top of this he knew all the best top sports to fish !! Within in minutes of being anchored and dropping lines down we were reselling in halibut and pacific cod straight away !!

All fishing gear he had was top notch and in great condition.

Many lures, jigs, bait and much more to choose from.

Todd swapped out different hogs and gear for us to try different ways of fishing and also to attract different fish !!

We saw whales as well as Captain Todd taking us past a beautiful waterfall on the way back !!
