Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in LaGrange

Let me start off by saying I love sonics, I use to drive to Columbus or Lanett just for sonics, so I was excited when I heard they were coming to Lagrange. I've visited this location 3 times since it opened. My first visit I was the first in the drive thru for breakfast no line a plus, everything was ok but my tots were not fresh and cold I brushed it off my sandwich was hot and fresh my sweet tea with peach was awful tasting but ok maybe someone gave me unsweetened by mistake no big deal mistakes happen.

2nd visit long line so long wait not a problem, I ordered the same thing I always order for breakfast I asked this time for my tots to be fresh as the last time I got them they were cold and not good, I received an ok from the young lady in drive thru. Get to the window pick up my food and drink and again tots are disgusting and my sweet tea was horrible I immediately stopped flagged a sonic worker and asked if I could have some fresh tots as these weren't fresh as I had requested. She was very helpful said no problem and came back shortly with what I believed was fresh tots to my surprise they must've been the same batch of tots and someone just recooked them they were even harder and disgusting. At this point I'm convinced that I don't need to order tots anymore.

3rd visit 12/31/2022 long line I was there for almost an hour. Finally I get to the speaker to order at 9:03pm I had a big order as I ordered food for my family no tots this time all fries I get to the window at 9:38pm to pay $39.83 they are out of all condiments no drink carriers. I should know to check my food at this location before pulling off my fries are old hard and cold my sandwiches were all warm chicken tenders looked more like chicken Stix then tenders they were over cooked and hard. I keep hoping that this location will get better with every visit but at this point I think the only thing they can make good here is icecream and shakes and breakfast sandwiches. I'll visit Lanett or columbus location if I want dinner food from here on out!

Update!!!! I went against my gut this morning and headed to my local sonics as I didn't feel like driving to Lanett. Well to my surprise everything I ordered was hot and fresh a BIG difference from what I had gotten here in previous visits. My tots were fresh and hot my sandwich was hot and I don't know if they season their eggs but it was darn good! My tea didn't taste like water, I'm definitely proud of them! I haven't gone back for dinner yet, but I'll definitely give an update on that visit. I absolutely love sonic but I’m am disappointed by the one in Lagrange n it just got here! They have struck out with me 4times but I keep giving chance after chance cause I really do love sonic !! But , everytime I come I wait 45 mins wether it be just one milkshake or food ! I waited an hour for a milkshake I had to call on the intercom to tell them they forgot me ! 15 mins later, I get the milkshake only for my Oreo shake to taste purely like bananas 😩Another visit a worker did not let me complete my order n just submitted it ! So I had to place a second order just to finish my first ! N wait even longer they brought the orders out separately at different times which is fine but waiting 45 mins for one then having to wait 15 mins after that is a problem! My burgers are always stale tasting cheese half melted & cold n I don’t like that but the popcorn chicken is great !! And last but not least !
