American Threads — Local services in Lake Buena Vista

I went in before a movie and only had about 20 minutes so I only tried on a couple items but I figured I’d just come back later. After the movie, I got there at 920pm. After selected at least 15 items to try on, I walked to the back and saw that the fitting rooms were blocked off. I asked a staff member if I could try on the items. She said “No, the fitting rooms are closed.” She wasn’t rude about it so I said, “okay, i’m sorry to do this to you, but I don’t want to buy anything if I can’t try it on, where should I put these?” And the look she gave me was blatantly rude. I was not expecting fitting rooms to be closed when the store is open for another hour and 40 minutes. I don’t know if that’s standard procedure but as I was selecting items from the racks, I would think an employee might let me know the fitting rooms are closed or at least have a sign. Not only disappointing that I can’t try anything on but when the staff members are rude that’s where I can’t really get past it. I have worked retail and I know how much it sucks but the whole situation was pretty...

Every year my three daughters have a shopping spree at American Threads in Disney Springs. We love the clothes & the selection. Most things are reasonably priced and they have great sales. In the past the service has been fine. Last year it was not great. This year… Victoria exceeded all expectations! We have done a lot of shopping over the years and I have never experienced service like this. She ran and got different items for them, suggested clothing, zipped, tied and helped them as they were trying on. Between three of them, they tried on hundreds of items. She remained so calm and patient and insisted on hanging every item even when I asked to help. She sorted for them, keeping track of separate yes, no, and maybe piles. She gave great advice and just made our entire experience fabulous and fun! Thank you!!!!

Alex checked us out and was also very good and pleasant and efficient.

If i could give negative stars, I would. This is regarding an online purchase. Bought a beautiful (pricey) dress for my daughter to wear to her Homecoming dance. We purchased the dress in advance due to her having a specific idea for a dress and not wanting things to sell out. We had high hopes for the dress but unfortunately when it was time for her to wear the dress it fell apart literally within 15 minutes of her wearing it. The fabric stretched out so much that it was almost falling off of her, the dress ripped and the boning was popping through and visible. I emailed the customer service and they are not willing to help in any way. I would think twice about purchasing anything from here, double check the quality and durability.
