Went into the store with my family as my niece shops the brand in Savannah, GA. We went into the store while browsing around, Jonathan approached myself and my wife and introduced himself and said if we needed any help to let him know. Jonathan did not introduced himself to any other customers. As I looked around I noticed 3 other employees watching us and basically surrounding us. Then a taller blond came over acting like she wanted to be helpful but never asked if we needed help. Then another employee dressed in pink pretended to start folding clothes just off to the side of us but keep her eyes on us the entire time. I looked around in the store to put my eyes back on Jonathan and he's got a laser beam eye right on me/us. No one ever said anything to my niece she is very light skinned and look a bit Asian. My daughter is very and my wife is also very light skinned and most people do not think they are black. As for me, I am a black man through and through, there is no mistaking. My wife and I stayed together while in the store and they kept their eyes on us, probably only because I am totally a black man. After spending roughly $250 on items, and by the way, Jonathan has now made his way to the register. After our purchase, I approached Jonathan and explained to him that he and the other three employees made me feel uncomfortable by watching us in the store. I then identified each of the employees to him without even looking at them. I then told him I am a Retired(22 yrs) US ARMY Intelligence operator, trained in surveillance and an Interrogater. I explained to him that I am very aware of my surroundings and could draw a layout map of this store after being inside of it. He then tried to say he didn't know he was doing that and wasn't doing it on purpose, again he was lying straight to my face and couldn't even look me in my eyes and was trying his best to move away from me as fast as he could, I spoke very softly and calming as to not cause a seen inside of the store, he couldn't even make a sincere apology to me. Will never shop at this store again and I do warn all of my black people to stay away. My next step is to contact the corporate...
Read moreI love Lululemon and I’ve never had an issue with the Disney Springs store until recently when I was “helped” by an employee named Angel. My daughter really wanted one of the belt bag keychains and a very nice employee let me know she could hold 2 for me as long as I was coming in that same day. I told her I would I just did not want to drive the 45 minutes and there not to be any available. She told me to go to the register and say they’re under my name. When I got in line there was a family already being helped by Angel. I waited probably about 5-8 minutes for him to finish with that family and I received no acknowledgment from Angel. When he was finally available to help me I gave him my name and that I was picking up the keychains. He seemed confused and would go out on the floor and check when I specifically told him that they were on hold for me. To make a long story short this was about a 10 minutes interaction between Angel and myself. He talked to me like I was a child, like I was stupid, like why would they put anything on hold for me and it would still be here to pick up. It was ridiculous the way he was treating me over some keychains. I did let him know why I had asked them to be held for this very reason. 2 hours of driving for nothing. He was just very rude and short giving me unapologetic answers as to why they didn’t have them for me. He promised when they came in or when they became available online he would call me right away. The keychains have been online at least twice and in the store at least twice (that I know of) since that time and I have yet to hear from Angel or anyone from the store or corporate. Angel needs to show a bit of compassion for others, maybe get a module or two on customer service. This is unacceptable behavior for an adult let alone an adult working in...
Read moreWent to the disney springs store a few days ago, to pick up some shorts. Had a great experience by the floor staff they approached me and asked if i had any questions or to let them know if i needed anything. Great experience overall. Except when i when i can tell how the staff is treated. I have been in employee development for the past 15 years. So i’ve picked up a few things about employee development and support over the years. A few customers cut in front of everyone and the employees refused to say anything to them. Once they where being checked out they demanded this and that and threw a bag at one them for not choosing the right color. The employee did not call management or mentioned anything to the customer. This is not in part to them not caring, but simply the fact they do not feel comfortable to do so due based by not being supported or rather feeling supported by their mangers at this store. I’ve seen this time and time again and it makes you wonder what type of employee culture they try to cultivate at this location.
-Great store presentation -Very friendly staff -But spineless employees due to management support of...
