The Bark Spot — Local services in Logan

Wow! I am very impressed with this facility. Our golden doodle needed his summer cut and our usual groomer is currently unavailable. I desperately started calling local groomers and stumbled upon The Bark Spot. I called and was greeted by a very professional staff, I was able to get an appointment right away! I needed to register my pup online and provide vet and vaccine information. The process wasn't difficult and seemed reasonable. When I dropped my pooch off I found the facility clean, modern, smelling nice, and the staff friendly. They made sure they knew what I expected and how I wanted my doodle cut. They even showed me samples of cut length so we were all on the same page. I was up sold for teeth cleaning, and nails. But hey! It's a spa day, right? Their add on costs were reasonable. I was called during his cut to update me on how he was doing and to clarify a couple points. When they called me to pick him up he looked and smelled beautiful! He was happy and not stressed out at all. This may be the best grooming he's ever had. I will be a returning customer. I can't believe I lucked into such skilled, professional, and fun people! I’ve never experienced anything but the best from this place. When my lab was too scared to get her bath, Miles called and told us that maybe another day would be better for her because he didn’t want to force her or upset her and make her even more anxious to be bathed or groomed in the future. I appreciated this so much. His priority is the dog, not the profit. He invited us to come visit with our lab Chloe a few times to get some ear scratches & treats so she learns to associate The Bark Spot with rewards, JUST so we could EVENTUALLY get her to relax and not feel fearful. He even gave me tips on how to overcome her fear of water! I’m sure all the groomers are great, and the front end staff are welcoming and smiling…… Now, every time Chloe sees Miles, she lights up and the wagging tail doesn’t stop the entire time. He has such a gift!!!! His sweetheart wife Elise is managing the office now and is so gracious and kind no matter how crazy it gets. I took my scruffy looking old (13 yr old girl) in to the Bark Spot for her first grooming ever today. Camryn did the grooming. My girl had quite an under coat, some old age related health issues and had minimal idea what was going to happen, but Camryn did an excellent job with my girl. She was finished quickly, looked marvelous and came out less worried than when I left her. She was cleaned, had a nice contour hair cut, her pants and feet were trimmed up nicely and she smelled really nice when they finished, too. They called to ask about a concern they had with one of my girl’s health issues and it was addressed before continuing. I love how competent, quick, careful and thoughtful Camryn and the rest of the staff was with my old and inexperienced girl! I don’t think anything could have been better! I highly recommend The Bark Spot dog groomers, and you won’t be disapointed if you have Camryn do your dog’s grooming, too! I’m going to take all my dogs back to Camryn at the Bark...
