With an Archaic history, channeling back to the beginning of Film where Charlie Chaplin founded the grounds he called his studio, to the magic of filmmaking at its prime. Later on Jim Henson took over the studio, and beautifully kept the remaining Chaplin Artifacts. Even Kermit the frog wears the Chaplin hat in commemoration.

Legends of our past, and present record at the Henson Studios, and it really feels magical walking through these creative ancestral grounds.
The Staff, at the Henson Studios is what gives a 5 star rating. They are kind, informative, caring, and pragmatic. Furthermore, the Henson Studios stand out from the others, making it the best Studio in the heart of L.A.
Marco, the sound engineer in Studio C is top form the most genuine, kind hearted, and considerate soul I am proud to have met. Marco is extremely good at what he does! He is talented, creative, intelligent and dedicated to his work, producing some of the most epic score of our time.
The Baez family, OUTSTANDING. I am honored to have met them. They are extraordinary people, driven, and passionate, furthermore, I find out that all of what they do and the work that they produce goes toward helping millions of children across the pond to have an education and a life.

Read moreI'd always wanted to enter the Henson Studios in Hollywood. Kermit tipping his hat above the gates was always such a tease. Normal tours were never really available, at least Noth that I'd seen. But the studios do put on the Puppet Up adult show a few times a year and offer a VIP priced ticket that includes a tour. It's pricey but we finally did it.
The tour didn't go too in depth about Jim Henson (or his son Brian) or their creativity, but just had us walk through the grounds and enter 3 separate buildings. We did get to see awards and a few characters, most I feel were from Dark Crystal. One highlight was seeing the mural Jim Henson shipped to LA from NY that had all the Muppets he created until that time, 1984. I lucked out and got to meet Brian Henson, and he graciously let me take a photo with him. Oh! And we also got a souvenir autographed puppet with the VIP tour!!!

Every show is different depending upon audience participation. I definitely would go back again. In fact, we'd met several people who had been multiple times. I can't wait to be...
Read moreWARNING!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS STUDIO!! After 10 text messages and 5 emails of communication with the studio manager Faryal Ganjehei cancelled my session for another client 4 days before my session stating that she needed “re - confimation”. There were 10 text messages and 5 emails all containing information that the session was confirmed including a piano request and a list of session attendees. The studio manager Faryal then tried to stand on a her high horse and read me her resume having no idea of my resume’. I have now requested the contact information for the owner of the studio 3 times without a response. This studio manager is inefficient, unprofessional, and has an ego that needs to be put in check. I will never return to this studio unless I get a written apology.
DO NOT BOOK THIS STUDIO!!!! I recommend any other classic LA studio to fit your needs i.e East West, NRG, Sunset Sound, Nightbird, Westlake,...
