Who knew a liquor store could be this upgraded? Consumers Liquor looks like it went from your classic corner shop to the Sunset Blvd glow-up of the year. Newly renovated, sparkling clean, and honestly more organized than my life.

The selection? Massive. We’re talking every kind of liquor, snacks for days, and yes, they have their own beer cave. (Because why just have a fridge when you can have an experience?) The staff are so friendly it almost feels unreal. Like how are you this nice and you remember where everything is?

Now, let’s talk imports. If you love finding random gems you can’t get anywhere else, this is your place. I found these imported mango ice creams shaped like the actual fruit full of happiness (their words, but honestly accurate). They’re unreal. Mango, strawberry, grape, peach, lemon/lime all dangerously addictive and totally TikTok-worthy.

And of course, right out front is the famous Guns N’ Roses mural, a Hollywood icon that’s been there for decades and just got a fresh new look. Perfect backdrop for your “I came for tequila, stayed for the art” photo op.

Bottom line: You walk in for one thing, walk out with five, and somehow no regrets....

I tried to go here late last night. It’s located next to a busy bar / restaurant / club called Amber. Many people from there pour into this liquor store. I waited outside for the large crowd inside to finish and leave. There were about 5-7 people hanging out inside near the entrance while I waited and waited. Most of them weren’t wearing masks. I’ve always had horrible experiences here. The prices change by the customer and there’s always a language barrier.
