My family and I visited this IHOP location in the morning on March 22, 2024 around 10am local time. Overall food quality was good (comparable to other IHOPs) and our server was very polite; however, the manager, Leslie, was beyond rude and incompetent. From the moment we walked into the restaurant and through much of our visit, Leslie was on her cell phone texting. Meanwhile, we observed an adult man passed out on a table and an adult female, who had walked into on-coming traffic when we pulled into the restaurant, panhandling customers in the lobby. She was later seated and given a kids menu.
Just before we went to this IHOP, my nephew wanted Chick-fil-A but us adults wanted IHOP. So, we went through the Chick-fil-A drive thru (about one block away) and got his breakfast. He got three small boxes of hashbrowns, which he hadn't fully finished before getting to IHOP. Toward the end of our meal, we placed the empty hashbrown boxes on the table to be cleared. Leslie stopped at our table and in a pompous attitude told us to clear the hashbrown boxes because they weren't from IHOP. She argued with us for a few seconds about how we should have thrown the hashbrown boxes away while at Chick-fi-A. Mind you, between two adults we spent $60 at Leslie's IHOP. After this very awkward and annoying exchange, our server walked up to our table and apologized for the situation.
I'd recommend going to a different IHOP in the area. Leslie was more worried about responding to text messages and hounding us about empty hashbrown boxes than creating a comfortable and safe dining atmosphere. She should be...
Read moreI have been a few times for breakfast and have never had a problem. However tonight 2/1 my friends and I went to eat dinner at 9pm and it was a complete turnaround from what we have been used to. I have been in the service industry for 6+ years and am typically very understanding and patient when it comes to these type of things. When we got there, there was 4 other tables. We sat at the table for 15-20 minutes without being greeted and to get our drink order. After we were able to place our drink order along with our food it took another 10-15 minutes to receive our drinks. The waitress informed us that they were out of white bread when ordering. After ordering she then came out and told us that they were actually out of the quesadilla app. and multi grain bread for the avocado sandwich. After receiving our food and drinks, the chocolate milk that was supposed to be large was regular and had white stuff floating throughout it and was not flavorful like it typically is, and the bacon omelette had no cheese sauce or tomato’s along with whole bacon slices w just cheese, whole bacon slices and egg. We overheard a different server telling their table that they were out of avocado, so my friend checked her avocado sandwich that they were out of the bread for … no avocado. Finally the cherry on top, our cinnamon donut holes had some type of multicolored hair on it, it looked like an animal hair. Read moreMy roommate and I were up late and were hungry and I hadn’t been to ihop in 8 months you can see my prior review. When it’s been so long and I see new employees I like to see if anything has changed in food and most of all the quality of service. I’m pleased to say nope. First of all I’m a stroke survivor and I walk with a cane and my leg was hurting and tired but we were greeted by a very nice young man named Ben. We were ordering food to go . Rather than giving us menus and stand there looking to see what we wanted to order he had us sit in the lobby couches to be comfortable and told us to take our time and politely excused himself to assist some customers that just came in. He came back to check on us and we ordered a lot of food I had sirloin tips with eggs and hash browns with buttermilk pancakes and eggs with a large orange juice and my roommate had chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns, buttermilk pancakes and a milkshake . I barely had time to finish the game I was playing on my phone when he came back so quickly. He had the food separate in two bags with enough forks , knifed and condiments in each bag the orders were perfect Ben was kind had a calm disposition and a pleasant and positive attitude and especially late at night and I know that’s not easy.
